She loves Alaskans enough to give up her own ambitions. She knows the attacks will keep coming, costing state taxpayers money that is in short supply. Also the time it takes to defend all the stupid charges take her time away from doing the job she was elected to do. I admire her for her selflessness. Journalists and beltway folk cannot comprehend this sort of thinking. They are so out of touch and jaded.
Look Weston, I have no vested interest in destroying Palin. I wanted her to become President. What now? What happens when her family becomes a target when she runs to be President, or becomes President?
Is she going to cut and run again? Is she then going to do it for the good of the American people?
I have no idea who counseled her here, but they contributed to destroying her viability as a Presidential contender IMO.
