This is an idiotic move if she wants to run for President. I assume she’s out for ‘12.

It is sickening the unmitigated glee of the left, DBM etc on this. Just hatred pure and simple.

Sarah will have the last laugh.

I attempted to find a conservative news source on Sarah’s resignation and can’t do it. It is all leftist bilge on Yahoo and Google, like they had it stored up.

3 more years of this hope and change, and America will be begging her to run for President.

No - very smart move. It’s only an “idiotic” move to those who thought she was going to run for prez.

Well, it did one good thing at least—it got the molesting freak off the news and net for awhile.

Check out breaking news agains!!!

Just spoke with people VERY well connected with Palin’s DC operation.

Reports that she has announced to staff that she is permanently out of politics are NOT true.

Three caviats:

1: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of politics forever. 2: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of ALASKA politics forever. 3: Word may have not filtered down to DC yet.

That said, senior DC people very close to her think she is very far from out of politics.

How bout;
She’s going to rally women to get involved in government
She’s going to rally for oil drilling
She’s going to expose the global warming hoax
She’s going to fight Biden on taking the right to secret ballots from union members
She’s going to expose Obama and ACORN’s voting crimes
She’s going to take her time and watch Obama hang himself.

she was never in for ‘12 except in some folks imagination. what endears us to her is part of why she is not in for ‘12. she is not really a politician.

her move today has put a spring back in my step because i think she can put us back in the game for 2010. she’s taking a risk, but i believe we will be the winners for it because she will crystallize us. that is trouble for the Dems. thank you, Sarah.

How ‘bout she’s going to accept a CEO role for a major energy? No matter....she’ll be just fine. No one needs to worry about her.

No Impy it is a smart move as Pat Buchanan summarized on an MSNBC show I got stuck watching (for video of Palin’s speech). It is following the path of Nixon, Clinton, Carter, Reagan and possibly other Governors who do not run from the office (ala Dukakis) but as a former Governor or VP in Nixon’s case. Nixon lost the CA Governor’s race coming off the close loss to Kennedy in 1960 and then bounced back to gain the presidency in 1968. How? These guys went around as freed up men, giving speeches, helping other candidates, etc. Paying dues.

Watch how Sarah takes on the scum to change the House back in 2010. We may then get some Impeachment resolutions.

I believe that you are right. She is too decent of a person for todays politics imho. I do believe that she has a role to plau however. She is not perfect (who is) but is a good person with a lot of talent.

Their desperation is quite delightful. I hope they keep it up for a long time....and....I hope she doesn’t respond to it. Let them slop around in it all by themselves.

I'm not the smartest dog in the world, but I highly suspect her resignation is more proof that national politics is off limits for “regular folks”. I would like very much to be wrong.

It is sickening the unmitigated glee of the left, DBM etc on this. Just hatred pure and simple.

She was constantly and unrelentlessly hounded starting last fall. Even though every and each claim against her fell apart, the toll on her ability to run for Presidency could become prohibitive if that was to continue - people would just get tired of it. Whether she was right or wrong would not have mattered; she would become "controversial".

In a way the Left can celebrate a victory. I suspect it will be Pyrrhic one. In a war you sometime have not to take an insignificant battle and better put all you got into a decisive one.
