Could Sarah's move mean the beginning of a Conservative third party?
Do you have someone better in mind?
Some of us wouldn't follow anyone over a cliff but do see potential in Sarah that should be cultivated and allowed to grow.
That's how we get good conservative leaders.
Bingo, emphasis added as that equals power.. Imagine them also pulling in folks like Steve Forbes... I'm just saying...
She will not or form a turd party!!!! If she does she will lose...
ROFL. The Reform Party didn't exist in 1992. Get your facts straight.
20% of us got it right that year, the remaining 80% of you pissed away your chances to make real, substantive change in this country.
No, 20% of you decided to drink the MSM koolaid and get Clinton elected. Bush I was on the verge of a comeback until Peror re-entered the race. While I'm not a fan of Bush I, he still would have been better than Clinton.
Now you can get off your high horse and illogical defense of the Republicrat party and join the revolution
No one's defending the Stupid Party we're just being realistic. Look at what Ron Paul did, his ideas created a coalition that would have destroyed the Dems. Palin is doing the same - she is the three-legged stool that Reagan talked about and helped him win 2 landslides. The best way to advance conservatism is to wrestle control away from the Rockefellers.
Could Sarah’s move mean the beginning of a Conservative third party?
She’d be late to that party. That Keyes fellar has one going or maybe two or three. I think he’s bounced around in some so maybe she could join up with him and his group.

You could not be more wrong. Palin came into the picture in late August of 2008. If anyone was to blame, it was McCain, aided by the MSM and infighting amongst Republicans, not to mention Huckabee's stealth campaign.
I oughtta know, I was one of the people here in Illinois responsible for getting Perot’s name on the ballot.
Did that win anything?..... I see Obama won so I guess that may be the answer.........
I have no problem whatsoever with members of the Republican party (which is far from a *grand* old party now) stabbing each other in the back. Heck, I wish I could stab some of them. It is the fact that they’re Democrat Lite that makes them unacceptable to me. I hope that Palin founds a Conservative Party, distinct from the Constitution Party. Whatever she chooses to do, I’m behind her and I like the company I’m with.
I doubt a third party will ever work - I’d be happy just to watch Sarah stop the RINO’s in their tracks. Maybe the Republican Party can be salvaged yet.
Seriously cool. :0)
I’m ready for a viable third party headed by someone with her name recognition. I won’t support nor give another penny to the GOP but I would to a viable third party she leads into 2012..
Please, please be right and let her leave the GOP. That would be good news for supporters and foes alike.
I did not come from any such board. However, it is very evident that you support the new compassionate conservatism of the Obama administration. Even the Donks are bitchin' about how Zero is following in the footsteps of the previous administration. Full support for the first round of porkulus, and half-assed support for the current "shovel ready" crap. The new bipartisan sell-out.
Now we're talkin' business. This would cost one heck of a lot of money up front and for years before any real fruit developed.
Match the money to the message and you're in the game.
Now that’s not a bad idea/ to start a conservative party. I’ve been thinking that a party split is in the works — how could it not be?
I can tell you one person who would write a big fat multi-million dollar check to help a conservative third party along.
George Soros
Your experience would be very helpful up front in something like this.
You totally understand.
Your skepticism is well founded but difficult things can be accomplished with the right team. It's interesting to debate whether the pieces can fall into place. Long odds are not impossible odds. And a good plan evens the odds dramatically. Plus money.
