My guess is she will withdraw from the political spotlight for good. She does not seem to be the typical pol that places power above everything else.

Me, I’d NEVER put my family in a situation to be raked over the coals by the pack of hyenas calling itself “the media”.

Gee, I just heard Lanny Davis say on FOX that Sarah Palin made a stupid move. He added that if the Republicans were to nominate her, she would go down to a huge defeat! lol Sure makes me feel good that Lanny Davis, etal are so concerned about our chances!

I'm extremely disappointed by her decision. Unless there are some health and/or family reasons she hasn't mentioned or perhaps some ethics charge we don't know about, she has no defense for not finishing the term she was elected for. The spin that this is a good move politically for her doesn't make any sense.

It was nice to know you, believe in you and donate to you, Sarah Palin.

Don’t panic. Palin is going to hit the road and will be fundraising and campaigning for Republicans to take back the House in the 2010 midterm elections.

Ignore the spin from the Kenyan’s cult and the Romneybots.

And enjoy their panic when Sarah hits the road to help the GOP take back the House.

Right now, I trust Sarah!

And I thank her for taking MJ out of the news; at least for a little while!!!

I’m conservative as they come. I despise Romney and/or McCain, and LOATHE the clintons and the obamas.

I had a lot of hope held out for Sarah.

But this author is just plain-old right.

By that criteria, doddering Senators Byrd and Kennedy define ethical.

------------------------------------------

Oh, Sarah has brain cancer or is over ninety years old? Nope. nice spin though.

“Qualifications” are determined by the American people, many of whom could not even spell the word.

Whether she runs for president or not, she’s twice the man that Zero will ever be.

Don’t panic.

This is all about the midterm elections for next year.

This is all about freeing Sara up for fundraising in the Lower 48 and driving turnout to help the GOP take back the House next year.

Like I said, don’t panic.

Palin cannot get elected President *only* with the Conservative vote. And to anyone else but a true believer, this is going to look like she didn’t just drop the ball, she threw it over the fence. She’ll look like someone who cannot or will not complete a task that she sought herself. And if she will resign as Governor, why would she not resign as President? How can the average voter trust her?

I myself am more cynical. I think more will come out soon on her reasons. Illness, or scandal?

I like that line in the old song"Me And Bobby McGee" that says, "Freedom's just another word, for 'nothing left to lose'...".

By resigning, Sarah is simply moving Alaska out of harms way so she can enter the fight as Sarah Palin, not as "Governor" Sarah Palin....more freedom to be herself.

It makes it look like she couldn’t handle the pressure.

Read my tagline.

Ding ding ding ding ding ding....We have a winner. This is the correct answer. I don’t think this is about her starting a run for prez in 2012.

It's been nothing but bad news for the GOP since Obama won the Presidency. Very depressing.

OTOH, we have at least 2 more years to keep an eye out for potential Presidential candidates. Our mistake is broadcasting what cards we are going to play WAY before hand.

We should just be still for awhile.

Her supporters don’t care if she resigned, it’s just another talking point for the press. If she runs in 2012 she’ll get the nomination.

Not this one.
I don't think I can vote for a quitter.
