Hmmm. In her speech she emphasized independence, and how she would work hard to get people elected that would fight for the constitution and conservative principles regardless of party.
Just thinkin' out loud.
Will not run in 2012..../
Uh, that’s an Obama Quote, and change the Year to 2009.
I don’t know where we’d be without Mrs. Greenspan’s insights.
Sarah Palin said she is stepping down from her position as Governor.
Well now...she’s on to something else.
Good.
We support you Sarah Palin as you continue on to your next endeavor, your next endeavor... and as you said, “No politics as usual.”
Yep.
...and that’s the real story, but then again...I’m only a housewife, not a politician.
Mitchell is no conservative, she wouldn't stand a chance anyway.
A photo full of airheads.
Consider the source.
Now there is an interesting speculative angle, perhaps a fusion Sarah/Hillary or Hillary/Sarah ticket is on the horizon?
I shudder to think of that happening, it was just a passing thought ... fergit I even mentioned it .... /laughs
Stop insulting the dead!
This whole thing would make perfect sense to me if Palin follows up with an announcement she is pregnant. (look, I’ve got no source for this — but neither did andrea mitchell. why are you holding me to a higher standard?)
Ughhhh the glee with which MSNBC is dancing on what they perceive to be her political grave is SICKENING!!!
talk shows, book writing, commentary...
You know, the possibility of her being pregnant popped into my mind too.
The article said — Andrea Mitchell say her sources that she has “had it” with national politics and is sick of it. Mitchell says she does not plan to pursue the Republican nomination in 2012.

Ummm..., at least that’s what some would like us to believe... LOL...
Let’s see if she shows up at a tea party tomorrow.
Sarah would not talk about campaigning for other politicians if she were getting out of the arena.
Sarah is in it to win it.
Andrea Mitchell is on MSNBC. Draw your own conclusions.
Well, if Angrier Bitchel says it ....it must be true! /sarc
I loathe Andrea Mitchell, and have no interest in trying to figure out her “sources”, but it’s clear she wants badly to get in on this “story”. Which is of course part of the problem that brought Sarah Palin to this point.
I am surprised someone as extraordinarily normal as Sarah got as far as she did in politics in the first place, even though this resignation was a complete shock to me.
If it is as she says, then her behavior is exemplary, and she is doing it on behalf of both her family , and her state, so that they can both all retreat back into some kind of normal functioning they deserve. I myself was and remain permanently shocked at the ugly snarkiness Sarah received virtually NON STOP all during the campaign, and RIGHT UP TO THIS DAY from the MSM, and, sadly John McCain himself, who put her out there to revive his rancid RINO career, and sacrificed her with much the same careless aplomb that we’re used to seeing from Lefties like Bill Clinton. I can’t say I have any idea if this is the end of political life for Sarah, but I have my suspicions it isn’t. If she so desires, and she plays her cards right, she WILL be the nominee in ‘12, and she WILL be elected. THE PEOPLE WILL ELECT HER.This I ABSOLUTELY know. Politics as we know it will have changed PERMANENTLY.
