I hate to say it, but agree with Shuster. For the life of me, I can’t understand why so many Republicans think they should quit the job they were elected to (or chose not to run for re-election) BEFORE running for higher office. They lose a major platform.

Barack Obama didn’t finish his first term as senator, MSDNC.

Yeah, but he was smart enough not to quit before getting elected President.

Are you honestly trying to say that resigning before even completing her first term as governor over 3 years from the next presidential election somehow means that she has a bright political future ahead?

If she ever had any hopes of successfully running for president in 2012 she just killed them. Only a kool aid drinker, of the same variety as those who bow before barry soetoro, would fail to see this.

No. She is resigning her term without completing it.

Barack Obama didn’t finish his first term as senator, MSDNC.

And, he continued to collect the peoples money as a senator while campaigning full time for the presidency.

It's to be seen if this is a good or bad political move for Gov. Palin -- I hope it's a good one 'cause she's my kinda woman (ahem...the future ex-Mrs. twister881!).

In any case, Shuster the Self-hating Jew couldn't find his @$$ with both hands and a funnel, so he doesn't have any business commenting.

OBTW, is this the closeted 'mo who said Hillary Clinton was "pimping out" Chelsea and subsequently was suspended by MSB.S.?

Yep. We criticized Obama, rightfully, for not even serving a full term before running for PotUS. Now Sarah is doing the same thing. And, worse yet, she's quitting early.

Remember you can’t trust these socialist loving folks to ever tell the truth about a conservative. I will wait to hear from the Palin’s themselves. They will let us know what’s up in due time. Sarah Palin does not have a history of quitting. I trust the explanation will be solid.

Why be saddled with running the state when if she wins, she has to resign and get to Washington? Why be tied to running the state which keeps one from making appearances all over the country? Remember the criticism she got for going to NY and for “waffling” on the invitation in DC. Now that she’s not governing Alaska, she’s free to make appointments and fundraisers and concentrate on winning in 2012. No matter what she decides to do, I’m happy for her and proud of all that she’s done so far.

Well then perhaps she accepted a position at MSNBC to make a difference and drag them out of media obscurity.

Why are we listening to anything from MSNBC, it’s all pure propaganda.

Had McCain won she would have stepped down as Alaska’s governor in January.

Stepping down now is brilliant, she sees the tea party movement she knows that the public is pissed at Obama and the RINOs she know that we need LEADERSHIP AND UNITY and is sacrificing everything to lead this country towards kicking Obama out of the White House.

A Sarah Palin freed from the restaints of her office and actively campaigning to oust Obama and his criminal csars is just what this country needs and what we have been waiting for!!!!!

HALLELUJAH!

Liberals have the attention span of fruit flies, so she can drop off their radar for a while and protect her family while she’s studying and preparing. Conservatives will still remember her if she reappears in a year to start her run for the White House.

I wouldn’t blame her a bit if she left politics completely. No one that is fit for office would want to be in that business anymore.
