Now Barack Obama and his family plan to spend some time next month on the glamorous island.
Just off Cape Cod in New England, the island is where America's Democratic elite comes to let its hair down each summer, enjoying "clambakes" on the beach, garden parties, sailing and golf. It has long been a favourite haunt of Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary, who is now the US secretary of state.

Killed in action the week before, the body of Staff Sergeant John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough Georgia. A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time.
Nowadays one can be led to believe that America no longer respects Honor and that outside of the military, no one honors the sacrifices by members of the military. Be it known that there are many places in this land where people still recognize the courage and sacrifices of the men and women in uniform. Georgia remains one of those graceful places.

We have these stupid, vapid self-appointed elites telling us how to run our lives. They’re not even particularly talented. It’s a mystery to me how these people are able to milk the system to achieve this status. We all can point to politicians who are just plain dumb.
When does the media start reporting on the amount of time Obama has been goofing off instead of doing his job like they did Bush ... oh wait, nevermind. Obama DESERVES it because he works so hard. /sarc

I’m wondering how the community organizer from Chicago will mix with this haughty money crowd. Obama fancies himself to be part of the moneyed elite, but really is just a machine politician from Chicago with money who really doesn’t have any real class. His numerous faux pas with European leaders and shallow intellectualism demonstrate that. Bill and Hillary mixed with this crowd because of old Billy’s aw shucks charm, not because they were pretending to be monied elite.
