"That’s right! The ”star-spangled banner does yet wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave” and it will continue to wave, because Americans will not let go of their hard-won freedom."

"...Americans will not let go of their hard-won freedom."

Unfortunately, many have already done so. Some realize that they've relinquished their freedom and others don't. Others understand that, if the present administration is allowed to continue, they will lose theirs as well.

Not to be argumentive here, you understand. It is simply a matter of seeing things as they really are and coming to the understanding that the number that defines the number of patriots in our national legislature/government closely approximates zero.

Of course Liberals say things like "that terrible song" and "we need something less militaristic" for our anthem. The fact that the song itself is a true part of history seems to escape them. As for me, I love the flag, the anthem, and the heroic imagery in the lyrics. Lately I've been flying the rattlesnake flag a lot as it bothers the Libs even more. RevolutionLadies

Is that a scene from the remake of Red Dawn?

This is a stunning tribute to our American flag:
America the Beautiful sung by Elvis Presley.
Not to be missed...

Ha! That’s a scene from my backyard. There lies my Rock River M4 in the dirt. The AK-47 belongs to Misses Monterrosa. The M1 and the O3 (barely seen on daughter’s shoulder) are mine. The P38 is a dummy.

The Secretary of the Navy issued Instruction 10520.6, dated 31 May 2002, directing all Navy ships to fly the First Naval Jack as a "temporary substitution" for the Jack of the United States "during the Global War on Terrorism". Most vessels made the switch on September 11, 2002, the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

The Old Navy Jack still flies on the jack staffs of our ships (unless there's been another directive by our Feckless Leader to stow it).

I’m not even celebrating July 4th this year. I don’t know how anyone could. Our country is being destroyed.

Celebrate what? Freedom in the USA? Independence from a King while a full-fledge hard-left tyrant lives in the White House?

I’ll celebrate when the right decides it’s going to do more than wave flags and hold useless “Tea Parties”.

I never, ever would have predicted the passivity and cowardly behavior I’ve witnessed that past year.

Let me know when the fight begins.

I’m not going to post a resume.

I do much more than the average brain-dead American to resist this hard-left onslaught.

While you were “chompin...Barbeque” I was organizing with like-minded individuals to exact change on the regional level.

None of us celebrated yesterday. We fought back.

This is a somber moment, not a time for flags and fireworks, in my opinion. You are still free, for the moment anyway, to do whatever you wish.

The left is tearing at our throats and are winning this ‘game’.

Millions of patriotic bromides on holiday do nothing to slow, or intimidate the hard-left.

Realizing we are under full attack by COMMUNISTS and providing real resistance does make a difference.
