Basically all State offices will be closed the first three Fridays of each month, not just DMV.

I don’t know. I will burn incense and meditate. Maybe a shot of Jack Daniels a time or two.

Wait until they do it to your health care.

How can you tell if a DMV is open or closed? They process the same number of customers in either case.

If they only required vehicle registration every FIVE years, they’d only have to be open ONE day a week to process the same number of registrations. Or they could close down 75% of the DMV offices and still be ahead!

Heck, a vehicle only needs to be registered when a transfer of ownership occurs. Think about how much money could be saved!

I like how government hires millions of people all over the U.S., to force people to re-register the same vehicles, over and over and over, and over...

That's all these people do, they take money, and force people to keep registering vehicles that are already registered.

What a racket.

That's a better con job than cable TV charging people to watch their commercials, that have already been paid for.

I think I read that DMV is known to cause cancer in the State of California.....

...must be why they’re closing them......

Good! They should close on Thursdays, too! Most transactions can be done now by mail or online anyway.

Make an appointment on line in all cases. Maybe this means that that will be three weeks out instead of two. But for the usual stuff that you can’t do by mail, there’s no reason to walk in and stand in an hour-long line with illegals, illiterates, internet have-nots, and poor planners.

A transaction implies you pay for something, and get something in return...

Why stop at July? “Until further notice” works, and saves more money.

BINGO! What will happen when we do survive with less? No need to have full time government employee’s with full time benefits. Less cost to the tax payer.
Something to think about....
