Al Franken’s national net favorable rating pretty much what you’d expect

No, just kidding. At -10, it’s actually quite a bit higher than you’d expect.

Less than a week before Sen.-elect Al Franken (D-Minn.) is set to be sworn into office, a new national poll shows that 44 percent of voters have an unfavorable view of the former comedian and liberal radio host.

A Rasmussen Reports poll released Thursday found that 34 percent have a favorable view of Franken, who defeated former Republican Sen. Norm Coleman to win the seat. Another 22 percent are not sure what they think of him.

The poll revealed that Franken generates strong feelings among his detractors. Twenty-nine percent said they had a “very unfavorable” impression of Franken, compared with just 12 percent who have a “very favorable” view.

We knew this election was rigged, that the Democratic crooks would keep “finding” votes for the immature, mentally ill and unfunny Franken.

Democrats don’t care about fairness and the integrity of the voting process. I laugh when I think back to their Holier-than-thou diatribes during Watergate.

Cold comfort.

1. Liberals don’t give a damn if anyone likes them or their ideas. They want power.

2. Conservatives, sadly, always WANT people to like them...so they end up compromising and being taken for schmucks. (By conservatives, I loosely mean Republicans. Not all conservatives bow to the nonsense. FREEPers, Rush Limbaugh, those kind of conservatives stand on principle.)

3. Voter fraud is likely to continue to create liberal supermajorities. No one is in a position to challenge...we’re being pushed out to the edges of political power.

4. Once Hussein has consolidated that power, his handlers will begin open crushing of all dissenters. All in the name of “the greater good”.

5. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.

Oh well, it could have been worse.

The U.S. Senate might have had to welcome a prostitute or a porno actor into its lofty ranks.

Slightly more than half the voters in Minnesota will vote for anyone. Jesse Ventura. Al Franken. Who’s next, Carrot Top?

Wait til he opens his mouth then his unfavorable rating will top 70%.

I never get surveyed. Is "very unfavorable" the lowest choice? For me, that barely scratches the surface about Franken...I mean, Senator Franken. *Gaaak*

Well if any of them are qualified than my dog is a shoe-in in 2010 and at least HE is cute and won't raise our taxes (and has more brains in his rump than anyone in Congress)

Actually, both Jesse and Al won in 3 way elections. If it was Franken vs Coleman, one on one, Franken would have gotten crushed. Ventura put in his shill, Senator Barkley in and peeled away 10% of the vote.

What makes you think either one would have been worse than Frankenfool?

Franken is one of the most loathsome, despicable, treasonous used condoms to ever walk the face of the planet.

Yes, he’s really that bad.

We don't have any of those?  Well color me surprised!

Either way, couldn't be worse than Franken.

I can't think of anything, and I mean ANYTHING, in the politics of my lifetime that is a depressing as the outcome of this election. I probably sound like an alarmist, but IMHO this further heralds the end of elections, and America, as we have known them for over 200 years.

The election of Obama was bad enough, but at least I can see why people might be impressed with him. With this man I am totally unable to imagine him winning in any way other than cheating and stealing the election.

I had hoped that Coleman would take it to the federal court system. I don't know that he won't, after the fact, but the failure to do so will set a truly horrible precedent for future elections. The scum who orchestrated this sham of an election will be greatly encouraged by their apparent success and the next stolen election will be even worse.

Sad, very sad.

I dont believe that Franken won the election. He won the way Gregoire won ... by RATS manufacturing votes after the fact.

On election night, Coleman was ahead. Only after votes were found in car trunks and under rocks did Smalley “win.”

"The U.S. Senate might have had to welcome a prostitute or a porno actor into its lofty ranks."

They already have. In fact, I now think that a supermajority of the Senate are prostitutes.

And they already are porn stars. I can watch them screw the public in the rear live on C-Span.
