Seems Nicholson was referring to more Afghan forces, not US forces. Seems pretty silly to get upset about the reaction that Jones thinks Obama would have about a hypothetical situation that hasn't even been discussed by the commanders on the ground yet.

I'll reserve judgment on this until Obama actually declines to send more troops that were actually requested.

Well, I didn't say anything about rules of engagement at all, but since you asked... From the link STARWISE posted in #9:

"Once again, as in the Korean War and in Vietnam and Iraq, as well as other conflicts, U.S. forces have received rules of engagement aimed at securing maximum avoidance of political backlash in a war with an enemy to whom the use of the civilian population as protective cover is an accepted part of his fighting tactics."

Doesn't seem like these rules of engagement are any different than any other conflict of the last 60 years.

I'm not military, just comparing across various administrations and I don't see anything different related to rules of engagement. And, for the record, I'm glad Obama sent 21k more troops there. Flame on if you must.

Of course this is coming from the same Jim Jones that decided that the Marine Corps height and weight standards were too restrictive, so he moved the bar up. Fits right into the Obama admin, if you can't meet the metric move the goal posts. If I were these Colonels and Generals I would remind the esteemed Mr Jones where he came from.

By the way, the new Commandant of the Marine Corps is now currently policing up the remnants of the Jim Jones policies. Hopefully a sign of the things to come....

This was SO predictable. Kennedy blew the bay of pigs. Johnson ramped up Vietnam and overrode the general officers on targets. carter projected such weakness that the iranians kidnapped our people and held them until Reagan came along. klintoon brought us attack after attack and ultimately 9/11. Now we have a vengeful rookie in charge of the military. The last real American democrat president was Truman and his last year was 1952. QUIT ELECTING DEMOCRATS. THEY ARE DANGEROUS TO OUR SURVIVAL.

I get many of these emails from readers and friends, and got this one below from my Floridian father Ray Jr, (I’m a third). He’s a former Notre Dame Grad, Fortune 500 executive who’s now a semi retired, Bonita Springs scratch golfing pro, selling real estate on the side down in Florida who’s now taking an unwanted break from the field thanks to Obama’s economy..

So anyways... after some quick verification, it’s an entirely true story that says all anyone needs to know about this President In Name Only, a self centered, narcissistic waif who cares more about approval ratings and media adulation more than anything

And this is Dave Borden Jr’s account of the meeting with the limp wristed President.., a proud and recovering US Marine who was wounded in Iraq on January 19, 2008. the account delivered to the world by his father Dave Sr.

This pic by the way is Obama skipping a trip to visit the troops on his European Vacation Tour last year exactly a year ago to go to the health club to burn off some nicotine and beers no doubt

David Jr. Meets His commander In Chief

For those who do not know Dave Borden, he is a former Black & Decker employee who lives in Hanover. His son Dave Jr was serving in Iraq and was badly injured from a bomb explosion. Dave Jr has had over 38 surgeries to date. The email below is from a recent visit from President Obama, the email speaks for its self.

Since Dave Jr. has been injured he has met and been overwhelmed by many, many political and military “celebs.The list includes Bob Gates, Sec. of Defense, who came into his room and told him 3 or 4 times that if Dave Jr. had any issues to call his cell phone number. It includes Gen. Petereus who sat and talked with Dave Jr. for almost 45 minutes.

The General recalled vividly all of the circumstances around the events that led to fighting that Dave was involved in. It includes Sen. McCain who arrived late on a Saturday afternoon during a thunder storm, unannounced, and talked to Dave Jr. about how similar their experiences with fate. It includes George Bush when Dave Jr. was invited to attend the very last Christmas party at the White House for the White House Staff.

President Bush and his wife entered the ballroom and immediately went to Dave Jr.. President Bush knew Dave Jr.’s name as well as when and how he was injured. Dave Jr. had a picture taken with Laura and the President that he has framed and ill cherish forever. The list goes on and on of people coming in to meet Dave Jr. and the other wounded warriors at Walter Reed and Bethesda.

Yesterday. Dave Jr. was ordered to be at the National Naval Hospital with another 12 soldiers and Marines to meet with Obama. Obama was supposed to arrive at 11:30 AM. He finally got there at 3:00 PM. He entered the room with the wounded warriors and quickly shook each of their hands. He never asked their names, where they were from, or how they were injured. Then he left.

Dave Jr. has met the people who really care about the military. All he remembers from Obama is a weak handshake. The others in the room, younger and less exposed to the people that Dave Jr. has met, were so disappointed. Word about Obama’s “insensitive” visit has spread to the MATC ( the rehab facility) at Walter Reed and throughout Bethesda. The military sees through his phoniness.

All I can say is that it is such a disappointment that this man is Commander-In-Chief of our Armed Forces. He is an embarrassment to our Nation.

What a jag, but this doesn’t surprise me in the least and shouldn’t you either if you follow this blog, as we’ve been documenting the meteoric and manipulative rise of this made for TV fraud since August of 2006 where I had this prescient observance of Obama’s intentions then, and we aren’t stopping now.

Still being a Gen Jim Jones ‘fan’, My question to HIM is WTF?
I thought someone of his character and caliber would serve us well DESPITE who the CIC is and my ‘heart of hearts’ is saying MAYBE, just MAYBE he is ‘warning’ the Commanders if you need 500,000 troops, tell us, don’t ask for 200,000 and come back in two weeks for 300,000 more..
