Time to cue song by The Fixx, “Saved by Zero.”

They could use it as a theme song on PMSNBC.

I don’t dislike Scotty but I don’t think this much matters...it just shows deeper divisions

Obama’s favorablity goes below 45% and we have something to work with

I wonder how much his drop would be if you could subtract his non political popularity.

“Obama’s favorablity goes below 45% and we have something to work with”

It’s trending in that direction; he’s now at 53% overall; the lowest yet. Reality is FINALLY settling in.

Just like watching your stock portfolio, one has to have strong nerves to check the Obama poll numbers everyday, because there will be many seemingly random jumps and falls. But the long-term trend is clear - as people judge him on his policies rather than his MSM-constructed personna, his approval numbers are going DOWN and will go much further DOWN.

This can’t be .... just yesterday he decreed that the stimulus worked. His numbers should be soaring. Then again, maybe he lied.

Another way to look at it, which is certianly the way the mediawhores would preent it if it were Bush or any republican you care to name is:

Obama received 53% of the vote, now only 33% approve of the job he's doing. thats a drop of 20 percentage points, or a 37% drop in his approval rating.

The most important thing I saw in the article “On the Generic Congressional Ballot, Republicans now have a two-point edge.” Considering that the GOP usually does 4-5 points better than the generic ballot this has to be seen as good news. While Obama is still firmly in control the first signs that Hope and Changes is starting to loose out to Tax and Fear.

and the vast majority has not actually started to REALLY feel it yet...in higher tax bills, utility bills, government light-bulb inspectors barging into their homes, etc. Can you imagine...
