The TEA Party movement is about kicking out the two-faced lying politicians who think more about gaining power than they do about defending our Liberty. Romney is just one more lying two-faced whore of a politician. Don't fall for his slick willie routine. He's a statist in love with socialism and government power.
Don't make me start posting the videos and transcripts of his abortionist/socialist record. I have them archived and FR will be wall-to-wall Truth About Romney if he gets anywhere close to running for president.
He needs to GET LOST!!
DONT TREAD ON ME!!
Yup!
...the bitter tongues are starting to swarm around to pounce on the LDS!
Nothing new here...
just doing the bidding of the opposition...
One of my former bosses in the advertising business--wise man, by the way--told me years ago that the secret to voting for the right person was this. The one the press hated the most was the one to vote for. Didn't matter what party.
Give it a rest Resty.
This isn’t an LDS thread but a political one.
Here facts actually matter and cases have to be proven to be considered seriously.
That's interesting, because the MSM coverage of the 2008 Republican primaries was anti-Romney. Remember all those Boston Globe stories, like about illegal landscapers? Neither McCain nor Huckabee saw any hostile stories until McCain secured the nomination. The MSM is essentially an arm of the DNC, so we can look at the number of DNC hit piece press releases:
DNC Press Release Attack Summary:
Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) 37% (99 press releases)
Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY) 28% (74)
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) 24% (64)
Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) 8% (20)
Governor Mike Huckabee 2% (4)

IMHO, there is only one candidate who can beat Obama, and that's Sarah Palin!
That was an incredible tale about Mitt Romney, using the same corrupt Colombian/American and his crew of illegal Guatemalans for 10 years and then being busted for it by the media.
We were all stunned when a year later, a day or two after denying that he was running a "sanctuary mansion" in a national debate, the local newspaper busted him again, finding more Guatemalan illegals at his home, it turned out that he was still using the same guy and that guy was still using illegals, fascinating story of incompetence and indifference about Mitt and his questionable character.
FYI, Ted Poe was elected to Congress as part of our local grass roots movement and his voting record reflects that. You can have whoever you want speak at your Tea Party. We’ll choose whoever we want, thank you.
I doubt there is a Congressman in the House more Conservative than Poe. He is not part of the “Ruling class”!
just doing the bidding of the opposition...

Well that leaves Joey Smith and Mitt Romney out as being on the “right side”
If they were this verse would apply to them, but it doesnt...
“for I will give to you a mouth and wisdom that all your opposers shall not be able to refute or resist.” Luke 21:15
Hey, Romney doesnt have a mouth or wisdom or any “evil opposition” here..
FReepers have no problem both refuting and resisting RINO Romney...
She never touted abortion...excuse me...pro choice

Dont stutter...
It’s PRO-ABORTION...
Romney has been PRO-ABORTION for 40 years...
Cried Actor Ronald Reagan, co-chairman of California’s Citizens for Goldwater and an early-form pick among right-wingers for the state’s 1966 gubernatorial nomination: “We don’t intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended.” Between rounds of golf, Goldwater himself took time out to lambast such middle-roading Republicans as Governors Nelson Rockefeller of New York and George Romney of Michigan and Senators Hugh Scott of Pennsylvania and Thomas Kuchel of California as “socalled Republicans.” Barry suggested that “the time has come for a real realignment of the parties,” naming them “liberal and conservative,” not “Democratic and Republican.” (Time Magazine, “Only 725 Days” Friday, Nov. 20, 1964)
Wow! What a dick.
RE :”Turnout is a serious issue and Romney does not inspire people to “turnout” instead he leaves the base uninspired and unenthusiastic. “
I cant predict Romney turnout but if the election was today as many or more people would turn out to vote AGAINST Palin as for her. I get the impression that many freepers think everyone agrees with them, everyone thinks like them, until election day, then they are very sad and bitter. But Republicans have finally hit botton and the 60 vote majority will turn the voters against democrats,
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to missing the point. The point is that this story was lame, and ran from an MSM source. Did McCain have illegals doing his landscaping in Arizona? Well, if he did the Arizona Republic wasn't going to write any stories about it. So desperate was the MSM to find negative stories on Romney, they ran bogus illegal landscaper stories just for him, when every other candidate was likely to have had illegals doing mowing their lawn as well.
Sorry but that is just a groundless claim and it doesn’t even ring true, if anything Romney would not only lose republicans but he would at the same time inspire the anti-mormon left to vote and activate, Mitt Romney would not attract PUMASs, instead he would motivate Gays and blacks to a hate frenzy, while at the same time leaving the religious republican base uninterested and no one is whiter than Romney and the Mormon religion.
Palin is a hugely charismatic woman with a Native American husband, African religious connections and mixed race children.
The thing about Mitt Romney hiring the naturalized Colombian and his Guatemalan illegals to maintain his yard and gardens and employing them for ten years, going so far as to draw his kids families into the mess, and keeping the relationship going during the high security years of his term as governor and all those brutal years of attention being paid to people that hire illegals is very revealing, of course Romney was pro amnesty until recently so we know where his heart is, cheap labor can save him a buck so why hire an American?
It is the second part of this extraordinary lifestyle of the Romney’s that makes the story doubly unique, I can’t think of another illegal hiring political story that comes close.
The fact that after the national scandal of this 10 year relationship hit the newsstands we thought it was over, we even watched as on national television Romney continued his lie and told the public that he wasn’t running a “sanctuary mansion”, for a newspaper to casually send a reporter to his house to ask the gardeners if they were in the United States legally and to get a no was just mind boggling, Romney was still using the same guys a year after the media had moved on from the original scandal, at least one of the Guatemalan illegals worked there for eight years.
Jim you have that one right. Right now his goons are going after Sarah. They are going to try to force feed us a Romney sandwich again.
RE :”Palin is a hugely charismatic woman with a Native American husband, African religious connections and mixed race children”
I am not trying to sell Romney but all those Palin factors you mention valuable BEFORE her introduction to voters have been overtaken by events and media characterization of her. The mother factor is negated by the single grandma factor, a weapon dems will continue to use.
