Here’s another thread that is a great example of a sympathetic media portrayal of Mitt which gets posted and will be received with scorn by many (most?) at FR. Sarah Palin does not receive puff pieces like this in the media, even by supposedly “conservative” sources.

Seeing as how it's presently 1977 all over again, the next president is going to need to be someone who understands the principles of economic recovery and how to make it happen (as opposed to someone who pretends to understand the principles of economic recovery and pretends to know how to make it happen). This puts Romney squarely on the short list.

Meanwhile, we can pray that the majority of the economy isn't nationalized prior to the 2012 election. At this point, I'm not sure if there's much else I can do.

Didn't McCain, Dole and Bush the elder teach republicans anything??? There are a lot of reasons to not nominate Mitt. Mine is that I'm tired of losing due to running liberal lite rinos against an honest to by gawd liberal.

If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!
