July 2009 sees nearly 6 months since George W Bush entered private life and as we have done in previously monthly threads I have collated photos from the month we are in from previous years.
Tonight I will post July 2001 and July 2002 photos and then over the next few days post 2003 and 2004 photos.
I have also found some photos from this June which I will also post in the next few days starting with one of them as the photo of the month.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
We missed you! Feel better soon.

LAURA BUSH GIVES MICHELLE OBAMA A THUMBS-UP — (MSM SPIN)
[a beautiful photo of Laura is included]
By Pat Eaton-Robb
The headline should have emphasized the following:
Friday’s ceremony was held to turn command of the Texas over to Cmdr. Robert Roncska. Roncska, dubbed Navy Bob by President Bush, was the naval aide to the former president from 2006 to 2008. He also accompanied the first lady on a trip to Afghanistan. In his speech Friday, HE CALLED THE BUSHES THE GREATEST PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY EVER. . . . I couldn’t agree more!

BUSH QUIETLY SAVED A MILLION AFRICAN LIVES
BY Paul Kengor
August 9-22, 2009 Issue | Posted 7/31/09 at 9:45 AM
. . . And as someone who has closely followed Bushs humanitarian gesture from the outset, Im not surprised that the former president continues to not receive the accolades he deserves including even from conservative supporters for this generous act.
Bush himself realizes the lack of gratitude and media attention. I personally witnessed it very recently, on June 17, when I was in attendance for one of Bushs first postpresidential speeches, in Erie, Pa. There, too, he mentioned the AIDS initiative even adding that one of his daughters is in Africa today, working on the epidemic and, there again, it received no press coverage whatsoever.

THANK YOU for posting the photos of our gorgeous Laura and her ‘double thud’ handsome husband!!
Thanks jonny. How’re you doing? Haven’t seen you around for awhile.
Hi :) I’ve been here and there, lol I hope you’re doing well too.
No new ones of the President that I can find.
Nice ... thank you !
I have said for a very long time that George W. Bush is a Christian first, and a politician far below that. He was hated precisely because he is GOOD.
And that is one of the many reasons I admire him more than almost anyone on earth.
God bless this dear man! HE WILL GET HIS REWARD!!
You’re welcome. Hope I’m not imposing. ;)
Yes.........the fluffy hair is NICE!
Hope you have a very happy birthday! Love ya!
