It looks like Joe Scarborough is trying to sell more books. I guess the endorsement his book received from Christpher Buckler, RINO who voted for Obama, didn't do the trick. Now he is back to taking cheap shots at Governor Palin. It seems he wants her to hide in Alaska and stay out of sight. Watch the video from his Morning Joe liberal talkfest.

Its important he mentioned Quayle - because the media are trying to destroy Palin with the same tactics they used on Quayle. The Bork-Quayle-Thomas character smears are getting old. The more fundamentally decent the man is, the more the paid flacks and hacks simply make stuff up. In the past, if they turned up the decibels high enough their fellow Repubs would run for the tall grass. I don't think its going to work this time, but they keep trying.

The anti-Palin "stories" as disseminated by liberal elitists are being conveniently used by ex-McCain staffers, who are quietly lining up behind Mitt Romney (i.e.- looking for jobs, money, and power). Sarah Palin stands in their way, and thus, the GOP must be "inoculated" against her before the 2012 race begins in earnest.
In this manner, the Eastern elite once again seeks to choose the Republican candidate, as opposed to rank-and-file conservative core voters, whom the NY/DC GOP Axis views as members of an Untouchable caste, beneath their class.

take a look at Biden, and tell me Quayle doesnt look like a Mensa candidate. Great point. If Biden was a Republican, the MSM would have shredded him decades ago. It takes a very special person to be able to overcome this bias, especially when seeking national office. Reagan was one of the few that succeeded. The media discovered more about Joe the Plumber in 24 hours than they did about Baraq in 24 months.

I would wonder what they would have said about Maggie Thatcher The left in Britain hated (and still hates) Lady Thatcher with a passion that truly qualifies as a "derangement syndrome". Thatcher Derangement Syndrome (TDS) predated BDS, PDS, etc. by almost two decades.

1) If Lori’s death was just a simple accident, then why did Rep. Scarborough and his spokesman Miguel Serrano feel the need to go to two different local TV stations within three hours of her body’s being found and invent a nonexistent history of chronic medical conditions for
her — in other words, why did they feel the need to lie about Lori’s health?
2) Would you trust without question the word of a Medical Examiner who lost his ME license in two separate states (Missouri and Florida) because he LIED about his autopsy work (for instance, saying he had autopsied some brains when he hadn’t)?
3) Why should whoever wrote Ms. Klausutis’s obituary feel it was appropriate to mention nearly everything about her life — EXCEPT where she’d been working since 1999?

Scarborough is comparing Quayle and Palin? Dan Quayle was a good, smart Senator but a nervous, disastrous communicator as vice president. He never took the roof off a GOP convention like the dynamo from Alaska. What an idiot, that Scarborough.

I know Palin has many groupies here and I like her but Joe speaks the truth. I liked Quayle too but he was not prepared for the national fighting match and liberal media, and as with Palin. The general public thinks poorly of her as a national figure. You can blame some of that on McCain but to be honest she did very poorly in the Couric interview.

You seem to be looking for polished professional politicians. We’re looking for citizens willing to return sense to a government gone insane.
