Oliphant chose interesting imagery for conservative Christians. Nazi propaganda films often juxtaposed scenes of Jews at prayer with rats swarming out of a sewer. If the left doesn’t keep reminding us of how tolerant it is, we’re apt to forget.

That's true, though I think the left is more tolerant of antisemites institutionally. A Republican who hung with Rev. Wright, or a number of BHO's associates, would be rejected by the party. I acknowledge the media would be a big part of that.

I thought there was no SS cemetary in Bitburg. There’s just a German military cemetary that has some SS graves. The rest of the graves are regular German army graves.
I did not know Marx’s views on Jews or that his family converted. I might have empahasized that aspect of the article more since much post-modern “intellectual” thought is rooted in neo-Marxism.

If there is one major way to determine whether the anti-Semite is left or right politically, it is this, the leftist pretends to love all humanity except the Jews and so they can embrace Muslim extremists and even Idi Amin, whereas the rightist has many targets and if fact because they did so well in the past, killing the 6 million, the Jews may not even be their main obsession at this moment.
There are different kinds of anti-Semitism from the affluent golf club that won’t accept Jews as members to ranting clerics to skinheads. The greatest danger comes from the most highly educated. Three of the four commanders of the Einsatsgruppen had PhDs. They can organize things to make trains run on time.
Before the Nazis, socialism as a matter of principle opposed anti-Semitism. The Nazis through their name National Socialism made it possible for leftists to retain their anti-Semitism and feel they were part of a leftist party and they rushed to join. Everything that the left stands for is in opposition to God’s laws. And God’s laws do indeed “stand in the way” of what the left sees as the “path to utopian perfection”.

The Truth Project is fantastic. Anyone interested in all aspects of sociology from a biblical worldview, the history of our nation, how we got to where we are today, postmodernism and how it affects us etc, will richly benefit. In fact, it should be required viewing for all youth groups.
