Palin's performance (Freep this poll!)
Daily News ^ | 6/30/2009

How do you believe Sarah Palin performed as a candidate for vice president?

Palin did great. It wasn't her fault that McCain wasn't a strong leader of the ticket.

She did OK. She certainly wasn't the reason why McCain lost.

She did poorly. McCain might have won if he made a smarter VP pick.

Poll is related to article “Sarah Palin trashed by members of John McCain’s campaign team in Vanity Fair” at same link...

My bumpersticker is “Don’t blame me, I voted for Sarah.”

Even in Maine I get a LOT of positive remarks.

She should have picked a stronger running mate.

That’s enough of these d****d polls. All Sarah has to do is show up and it is clear who the vast majority of conservatives like! The rest are just wannabes.

She is the reason McCain got as much of the popular vote as he did. Palin energized McCain’s “sominex” campaign. Downsides to Palin ...her lack of experience in national politics and foreign affairs (now being corrected) and her family baggage (out of wedlock pregnant daughter) which was chum for the media sharks.

So did I. A pollster called and asked who I was voting for, for President. I said I was voting only for Sarah Palin, and that I'd pull the one lever with her name and McCain's on it.

They left off “Palin is the only reason I voted for the ticket”.

“I voted for her, not him.”

Ditto.

She could have a brainectomy and still have twice the leadership ability and IQ of the Obamaloon.

What the f-—! Don’t they know that we saw with our own eyes how inadequate a candidate McCain was, how totally unable he was to arise to the occasion? So now we know the stories about their efforts to “control” Palin were true. That’s because they saw she made McCain seem like the vain old, boring hack he really is, and afraid, yes afraid of taking on Obama, one on one. The only spark he showed at all was against Romney; against Obama, he was useless.

The ONLY bad moves Sarah made were forced on her by McCain’s stooges—namely, those two interviews with the Perky One and What’s His Name.

Nothing could have been stupider than to hand her over to a couple of liberal manipulators under conditions that allowed them to use their scissors to edit the results.

Even McCain woke up and sent those handlers off into the wilderness. Which, no doubt, is one reason why these guys hate Sarah. She showed them up for the stupid jerks that they were.

Our family, 3 voters, voted GOP because of Govenor Palin. McCain was too afraid or unknowledgeable enough to attack BO,perhaps fearing charges of racism. After the financial meltdown, McCain was a no show on any issue.

If my resume had me working for McCain’s office in anyway, I’d damn sure expunge it immediately. His incompetent staff were just that!
