WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is vowing to sign climate change legislation and overhauls in health care and financial regulations this year and is dismissing his critics as naysayers.
Obama warned more than 400 of the Democratic Party's top fundraisers Monday evening that winning policy fights will become more difficult.
Obama ran through a list of successful administration initiatives, including a $787 billion economic stimulus, a budget resolution, a fair-pay bill and a reversal on a ban on federal funding of stem cell research.

I would like to know how come any person that is put up for Supreme Court that is not a liberal gets total bullying; while it is not that way in reverse.
I always thought it was funny how they almost always ignored the “Prime Directive” except when they mentioned it in a plot.

I've always been mystified by that too. Unfortunately, there is a huge character deficit in most of these politicians that grows like a cancer among them. The thirst for power overcomes every ounce of decency they may have had at one time (if then) and moral blindness sets in.
Awesome and so accurate a depiction of what these reprehensible politicians are committing in their quest for total power.

Our forefathers and all American patriots look down in disgust at these reprehensible traitors. They dishonor all that is honorable about this blessed country.
It ain’t over ‘til it’s over Red. There’s some mighty good folks in this country. In your state of Texas (like a Marine, nobody is an “ex” Texan, they’re just living in a different place, the attitude is still the same) I see them everyday and we live in really tinytown Texas for sure, not one stoplight but we have three (3) blinking caution lights!
And we’re mad as all get-out but the trick is to control the rage and focus the energy into something positive, directed and disciplined—and we will!
You post good articles, obviously you spend many hours searching for reliable information and it is greatly appreciated. I use FR to gather info and dissiminate to others verbally and by email but you and so many other FReepers do the lion’s share of work in this and I thank you, all of you from the bottom of my heart.
