Are they really trying to spin this as good news?
She got overturned by the supreme court so that makes her fit to join them?
How longbefore even the MEDIA will be embarassed by what they say?

In other news, up is down, good is evil, and hot is cold.
This administration is incapable of telling the truth.

A surprisingly effective tool of rhetoric is to simply declare that a fact in flagrant contradiction with your opinion proves validity thereof - and let your opponent tie himself in knots trying to unwind that absurdity while you move on to other things.

He said he was not concerned that the reversal would cause her trouble in Senate confirmation hearings, and he doesn't see anything in the decision that would prevent her from assuming her Supreme Court seat. Unfortunately, he is most probably correct about this decision not affecting Soutermayor's confirmation.

Well then.
By the same logic, President McCain should immediately go to the White House and assume his duly elected role as the POTUS.

A surprisingly effective tool of rhetoric is to simply declare that a fact in flagrant contradiction with your opinion proves validity thereof And sometimes the overuse of such tools puts a spotlight on just how large a liar the maker of such statements is.

A surprisingly effective tool of rhetoric is to simply declare that a fact in flagrant contradiction with your opinion proves validity thereof.Precisely.
Which is why the loser of the 2008 election, Obama, should vacate the office of the President of the United States, and President John McCain must immediately assume his elected position.
