Iran has arrested eight local British embassy staff, triggering London's fury and further exacerbating tensions with the West over the post-election turmoil in the Islamic republic.

The latest backlash against what Iranian leaders have branded as foreign "meddling" came as opposition leaders continued to defy the regime, rejecting a panel set up to hold a partial recount in the hotly-disputed presidential vote.

and further exacerbating tensions with the West over the post-election turmoil in the Islamic republic.

Are 'we' still part of the 'West'? Is this enough to get Rahm's attention? (Is George Soros dining in or out tonight?) So many questions.

Cannot help but feel, if America had authentic Presidential leadership; and a 'man in charge' who did not take peculiar pleasure in a contemptuous dissing of 'our' Western friends/Allies; while showing 'Cheshire cat smile' to our enemies; we would not be witnessing this unfolding.

America should have experienced more than a collective shudder - if we even had that - when Obama ordered Winston Churchill. . .home.

Worse for America and the world; Obama had only just begun. . .

It’s time that this woman be made responsible for her irresponsible and quite illegal behavior.

While I totally agree on sending Jimmy, the only provision I'd like to add is that the ticket be only one way.

"Send Jimmy Carter. He’ll konw what to do."

He's probably on his way.

Has Obortion condemned the UK for the "meddling" yet?
