Conservative talk radio hosts are terrorists.
So said the Speaker of California's Assembly in an interview published at the Los Angeles Times Saturday.
As amazing as it may seem, this was Karen Bass's (D-LA) response to the question, "How do you think conservative talk radio has affected the Legislature's work?" (h/t NBer Gary Hall):

She’s employing a modified version of Godwin’s Law, substituting “terrorist” for “Nazi.”
Why doesn't someone figure out how to get these gals real jobs so they can survive without bothering everybody else.

That’s part of the left’s fanatical desire to brand normal people as terrorists, Christofascists or nazis.
That sort of talk usually precedes repression.
It’s all a part of the Obama plan to get conservative speech halted.
The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: "You vote for revenue and your career is over." I don't know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it's about free speech, but it's extremely unfair.
Waaah! Waaaaaaah! And what happens to legislators who vote to cut spending? Suddenly the outraged mob with preprinted signs shows up at the offices or even houses of those who voted the "wrong" way in the state house. About all Republicans do is make calls and send nasty letters.
This is weird because that’s exactly how I feel about Karen “Dum”Bass (D-LA).

Indeed. People with the value system that built the country and made us safe and role models for the world, are now branded as the extremists.
All one has to do is look where the left is in charge and it’s absolute disaster. The proof is in the pudding. They are the extremists as evidenced by their inherent failure.
Karen Bass: If we let government run off a cliff, what about the people who die in the process? I believe people are already feeling the pain. Do people need to see people dying?Who is the one spreading terror here?
I’m truly amazed at how easily these kind of things are said these days. Truly amazed!
And even more amazed at how easily most all seem to agree.
I never thought I’d live to see the day when one philosophy would make it illegal or repugnant to be anything but their philosophy.
When, if ever, are a majority of non-leftists actually going to get together and then either have a serious and successful revolution occur throughout the U.S., or have a serious and successful civil war occur throughout the U.S.? When, if ever?
