Ax: Iran is going to have to decide whether they want to further isolate themselves or join the community of nations. Hey Ax, why? It is all upside for Imanutjob and the Mullahs. They don't have to decide one stinking thing.

We have a prescription drug program. Rove and Graham tried to push amnesty down our throats. Those are facts.
And despite Bush's insistence that he was not calling for amnesty, Sensenbrenner said, "Well it is an amnesty, because it allows people who have broken the law to stay in the country." "The president has repeatedly and forcefully rejected amnesty," Conant said. "Under his plan, you're going to have to pay stiff fines, follow the law, stay employed, learn English and ; after achieving all those things; go to the back of the line." Sensenbrenner did not attend a closed-door meeting between Bush political adviser Karl Rove and House Republicans, but said that some members complained to him that Rove didn't stay around for many questions or hear what lawmakers had to say. "The overwhelming majority of those that I talked to who were at the conference believe that he dissed the House Republicans," Sensenbrenner said.

Great catch Bah!
Iran is a key happening that exposes the zero mob operation for what it is, nothing more than a huge power grab at the highest of levels.
When the 16 year old girl Neda died in the arms of yet another Iranian freedom seeker, the entire equation changed and the New Media helped show the world(with no help from the DBM) with the changing.
This brave young girl is now the poster for the entire revolution should there ever be one. Either way her bravery will never be forgotten and will forever expose the lack of freedom lovers at the highest levels of both the US and Iranian govts. to the demise of both.

Rove is less than perfect but like Newt our party is probably better off with them both than without them.

That Iran is not the top topic this week is proof of an either dead or completely state-run media.
Today may be the worst Sunday news show day ever for the clear abdication of the free press’s responsibility towards the people.

I swear, DC politicians hop on every colorful word or phrase and work it to death.
However, "gravitas" is no longer in use since no one in this administration has that attribute.
(I still harbor resentment over homosexuals' expropriation of the word "gay"....a once lovely word. The original definition...happy and carefree...certainly does not describe them.)

In the early 70s I had an algebra teacher who lamented the death of the word “queer”.

Ipanema is in Brazil. Heck, I thought Ipanema was in Panama frankly.
Rush calls her the girl from Ipanema and it seems so fitting.

That is sad, makes it hard to trust a lot of these guys since we all know by now to ignore anything they say and just watch what they do.

Rove was the “architect” of W's:
Election versus a sitting VP during a time of “peace and prosperity”.
Reelection in the midst of an increasingly unpopular war.

What part of “leave it at that” do you not understand? I’m not interested in your efforts to persuade me to your opinion of Karl Rove. I know those ‘facts’ and I still admire him. Now run along.

Will we remember the day
When we were happy and gay
My dearest one.
Can one even sing that any longer?
