“Amazing how many in the media have tried to turn a pervert who was addicted to drugs into a hero.”

No doubt he was a drug addict, and it cost him his life; but a jury found him not guilty of the sex charge, and I don’t know of any evidence they were mistaken. Do you have any evidence that the jury didn’t get to see?

Have you ever listened to the jerk talk about sleeping with adolescent boys?

He was a freak.

I think the reason many of us feel that the children of the world are safer is because of his aborrhent behavior and ridiculous explanations regarding sleeping with little boys.

He offered the following, in spite of the publicity surrounding his behavior:

“Why can’t you share your bed? The most loving thing to do, is to share your bed with someone.”

And further described the practice as “very charming” and “very sweet.”

Jackson even said he would kill himself if he could not be close to young boys.

There are more statements that are bizarre given how this looks. It might have been understandable if he had said something on the order of “In retrospect, maybe that wasn’t a good idea”

Instead he sounded more like a spokesman for NAMBLA.

Oh, come on. When are we going to stop covering for these perverts by stating they weren't proven guilty in a court of law? The fact that he had more money than the people who sold their little boy to him and was able to buy their silence (probably, by most accounts) only means he had more money, not that he didn't do what the prosecutors charged him with.

The longer we justify this kind of behavior as not being condemned by a jury, the longer we will have perverts trolling our streets. Juries may not find these people guilty, but that doesn't mean we can't rain shame down on them.

We've sat on our hands long enough.

These are links to a series of very detailed investigative stories published in Vanity Fair. They were written by Maureen Orth over a 12 year period of covering Jackson. The author notes that nothing published in these stories was ever legally challenged by Jackson or his associates. The case against Jackson is quite damning.
