Bucknell University, a well-regarded liberal arts institution set in a picturesque location in the rolling Pennsylvania countryside, looks entirely benign. Its campus is safe, its students intelligent. It counts among its alumni the famed author Philip Roth and Leslie Moonves, the president of CBS. Its a college to which most parents would be proud to send their kids.
But if your son or daughter is the type who might join the Bucknell University Conservatives Club (BUCC), you would be well-advised to send him or her somewhere else. Because Bucknell really, really does not want to hear what the students of the BUCC have to say.
The BUCC has never exactly been welcome at Bucknell, and as the movie Indoctrinate U shows (directed by a Bucknell alum), the university is hardly a stranger to free speech controversies. The colleges latest assault on the free expression of its students began in March, when...

Even managed to dodge the snow almost completely on the trips to and from. Talk about lucky!
I live in Williamsport, PA, just up the road from Bucknell. They are known as very liberal. I have known professors and student there who left due to the incredible left-leaning policies.
This is right in my backyard. Lots of friends and acquaintances currently or formerly attending Bucknell.
It’s bad. There are worse, but it’s definitely bad. Talk politics for more than a few minutes with a typical Bucknell specimen, and you realize you’re in the presence of a blighted mind.
Ayn Rand once wrote of the “comprachicos,” who deliberately disfigured children, and compared today’s educators to those monster-makers. She nailed them perfectly.
Hang around Bucknell — a rather ordinary indoctrination camp — and you’ll soon be wondering only: whether these poor souls, who are America’s future, are going to be digging the mass graves or filling them.
One of my friends, a mid-morning conservitive talkradio on the local/regional area, attended and graduated from Bucknell. Unbelivable.
I am the proud parent of a former BUCC member(graduated in 2008).
Please see post number 6.
My conservative talkradio show friend, who calls himself a “republatarian”, is one of the few exceptions to the rule as a conservative.
Bucknell University ought to rename themselves Fascism University (FU), Campus #837 (along with all the other Leftist Indoctrination Camps styling themselves as ‘Universities’ that are afraid of a little free speech on campus).

That must be Jim. I never knew he went to Bucknell.
With the exception of the short list of conservative universities, virtually every university in the country is like this now, if not worse.
Yes, as in Jim Vicevich, the one who has his own show, “Sound Off Connecticut” on WTIC AM. Here is the website for the station:

....And sadly, you have to dig long and hard to find those conservative colleges.
I grew up in Lewisburg. Beautiful town, as you know. And I want my kids to go to Hillsdale or Grove City.
I work at Robert M. Sides in the 1970’s.
One of the colleges, Grove City is a REALLY good small conservative Christian college. Been to there, or used to for a yearly Bible one week summer conference that will again take place starting next weekend. :)=^..^=
This school - Bucknell also ranks among the most expensive universities in the USA. See here :
