The entirety of your last reply is a defense of your demoralizing comment.
If you won't own up to it in public, then at least do so privately, and resolve to keep such thoughts to yourself in future.
We are nearing the opening of an historic battle for the survival of the greatest nation the world has ever known. Now is not the time to express idle pessimism of any sort in public.
I, too, have my fears, but they never make it to the public page. I refuse to spread anything but hope and resolve amongst the patriots who read here. As should we all.
I am a grand father and did my service before many on this forum were born, my fighting days are over, either they will kill me in a hospital or I will die of natural causes, but I will never again see a free America.
Pessimistic enough for you.
“It only takes a few dedicated men to make history. “
Examples:
(1) The 300 Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae
(2) The Battle of San Jacinto, fought on April 21, 1836. 900 Texans defeated 1360 of Santa Anna’s men in an 18 minute battle. Killing 630 of Santa Anna’s men.
Me No Alamo, Me No Goliad!
What will they eventually be saying? Me NObama?
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
IMHO, we have to restore the founding principles this country was built upon. Without Judeo-Christian laws restored or acknowledging the God who bestowed on us those inalienable rights....we cannot win.
The undermining of this nation's foundation began with communists/atheists infiltrating our government and began the course of corruption we presently have.
IOW, resist evil, fight those who wish to destroy us with all your heart... and most of all........pray.
Good words.
Seehs, the titles alone of some of these threads do make me want to jump off that roof I talked about earlier.
You are correct on the rebelliousness of youth. But they can only rebel in ways that occur to them. One of the ways that the politically correct left has reigned so long is to claim that THEY are the rebels, even though they have been the establishment for decades, at least in Hollywood and Academia.
Be a rebel by joining the lemmings. That was what the 70s was all about, and it still works pretty well.
I have worked in academia, and it is certainly true that the students are a lot more open minded, and sometimes conservative, than the faculty. But they are being deprived of the things they should be reading. It’s not that the classic great books and histories are being wrongly taught. It’s more that the classic books are hidden away and many young people have never even heard of them.
So, we—and they—have our work cut out for us if they are ever to rediscover what has been lost. Thrown down the Memory Hole. Buried.
Culturally, it's the equivalent of the Alexandria Library...
I agree with most of what you say, however most of them would not want the secession of the red states because they need the tax revenue to fund their massive social programs. However, being gutless they would have little recourse but to simply whine about it. Of course the red states are the only ones that would have a military at that point so we could simply take them back over 50 years from now...
Go away, please. Sorry you are having a difficult time.
Most likely the scenario we face and good advice. But, it doesn't have to be this way if we could but find the little fortitude needed to exercise the final fail safe solution to preventing lasting tyranny built into the constitution by the founders (Well second to the last, next to the second amendment that is).
This being for the states call a constitutional convention for repelling the 16th amendment. This is the source of power whereby the leviathan can wield it unholy wrath upon a common person enforcing them to give a third portion of their labored existence to feed its hunger for power.
Pull this one bloodless coup and the beast will wilt like the weed it is. However, I doubt American couch potatoes care to be bothered with such nonsense. Hey, even Glen Beck thinks its much to dangerous to attempt...
I'm old enough to know who she was, and I respectfully ask your permission to use that as a tag-line for awhile.
Yes, cowards they are. My current favorite quote:
“In the world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called Despair, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.” D. Sayers
Yeah, but your encouragement and strategic observation/overwatch is welcome where I am any day, CC.

Couldn't such a statement be considered giving aid and comfort to the enemy, and therefore be treason? Maybe, maybe not...
There is a far better case against Murtha, who declared the guilt of marines operating according to their ROE in a war-zone BEFORE even a an investigation had been completed!
The judges who ruled that a federal law protecting federal employees in execution of their office[/official duties] immune from civil suit are themselves aiding a traitor and therefore traitors themselves. Furthermore, according to US Code TITLE 18, PART I, CHAPTER 13, § 241 & § 242 both seem applicable (to these judges) and BOTH of these are punishable by death... even if a treason charge on them didn't stick.
Your thoughts?
Excellent points and add to that that the liberal profs punish those who stray. Still, we must find a way to support those we can and encourage others. Waiting for a collapse and hoping for the rising of the Phoenix is a losing proposition.
The destruction of this country is the aim of those in control. Supporting all conservatives anywhere and everywhere is helpful. I send email to conservative publications and ping their advertisers just to give them the hits. I also have sent “attaboys” to my representative and senators.
Heck, you are the smart one, give me guidance.
:-)
Actually, such a “life-sucking statement” seems to have had exactly the opposite reaction, in that it has raised a defiant and forward-looking discussion rather than a hopeless one...
Tagline? Sure, go ahead! :)
our fellow Americans are no longer our fellow Americans.
