You are correct on the rebelliousness of youth. But they can only rebel in ways that occur to them. One of the ways that the politically correct left has reigned so long is to claim that THEY are the rebels, even though they have been the establishment for decades, at least in Hollywood and Academia.
Be a rebel by joining the lemmings. That was what the 70s was all about, and it still works pretty well.
I have worked in academia, and it is certainly true that the students are a lot more open minded, and sometimes conservative, than the faculty. But they are being deprived of the things they should be reading. It’s not that the classic great books and histories are being wrongly taught. It’s more that the classic books are hidden away and many young people have never even heard of them.
So, we—and they—have our work cut out for us if they are ever to rediscover what has been lost. Thrown down the Memory Hole. Buried.
Culturally, it's the equivalent of the Alexandria Library...
Excellent points and add to that that the liberal profs punish those who stray. Still, we must find a way to support those we can and encourage others. Waiting for a collapse and hoping for the rising of the Phoenix is a losing proposition.
The destruction of this country is the aim of those in control. Supporting all conservatives anywhere and everywhere is helpful. I send email to conservative publications and ping their advertisers just to give them the hits. I also have sent “attaboys” to my representative and senators.
Heck, you are the smart one, give me guidance.
