PMSpeaker Nancy Pelosi, the Leadership of the House, and Chairmen Waxman and Markey have, through their leadership, secured an important bipartisan victory for the American people.
The American Clean Energy Security (ACES) Act is one of the most important pieces of legislation Congress will ever pass. This comprehensive legislation will make meaningful reductions in global warming pollution, spur investment in clean energy technology, create jobs and reduce our reliance on foreign oil.
The next step is passage of this legislation by the Senate to help restore America's leadership in the world and begin, at long last, to put in place a truly global solution to the climate crisis.
We are at an extraordinary moment, with an historic opportunity to confront one of the worlds most serious challenges. Our actions now will be remembered by this generation and all those to follow in our own nation and others around the world.

Never forget--- Al Gore invented the Inter"nut"...
My gosh, is that pig still squealing?
**** Algore! The bass turd should be in prison for the scam and hoax that he’s perpetrated upon the people.
This should a “Caption this Pic” thread.
Just reflect on the thought that this Insane, Demented, Mentally Retarded Psychotic almost became President of the United States! THANK GOD FOR SAVING OUR AMERICA FROM THAT GORE-EE CATASTROPHE AND DISASTER!!
When folks find out firsthand how the bill invades every aspect of their lives and costs them a ton more money for energy and products, Al Snore the Global Warming Whore may end up like Mussolini.
Psst! Idiot Gore! Eight defecting RINOs does not make for a Bi-Partisan Victory! especially when 40 Democrats Voted for AMERICA and NOT YOUR TRASH BILL, Mr. Gore!
PUBLIC DOUCHEBAG NUMBER 1
>Our actions now will be remembered by this generation and all those to follow in our own nation and others around the world.<
And you will be cursed for all eternity.
ROFL!!! I stopped reading right there. Anymore spin that bad, I would have found myself in the floor from dizziness! There was more bipartisanship AGAINST this dreadful bill than there was for it.
I think this victory will be short lived for them, because there's no way this garbage gets through the Senate without a significant watering down, which would then make it unacceptable to the wackos. In the end this will amount to a bunch of spent political capitol wasted, and no bill at all. Hopefully their healthcare disaster will meet with a similar fate.
Not all the Rats who voted against it did it "for America." Many of them voted it down because they thought it didn't go far enough.
I wish that hand in the background was mine so I can crush that dummy’s head like a walnut
Algore is a perverted, sick, extremely poor excuse for a human being.
Of course. The fat b**tard is going to get even richer.
Algore is a perverted, sick, poor excuse for a human being.
And I didn’t even read his statement.
Another bill that was unread when passed-just like the Stimulus bill-and both bills will further wreck our economy and weaken our nation in competing with other nations.
The Democrats say these bills have to be passed fast as they are so important. Yet, if so important, why the last minute document dumps of thousands of pages of the bill so no one voting on the bill really knows what’s in the bill or how it will work??
This is not how a country should be governed and we have to let both parties in D.C. know we are not going to stand for this sort of misrule.
You fat, lying, self-righteous pig.
(Al Whore, Melt, not you, AFAIK.)
If Nazi hadn’t found 8 traitors to buy off,she would have ordered enough RATS to vote for its passage.Helen Tasker:”did you kill anybody?”Harry Tasker:”Yeah, but they were all bad.”...True Lies
