How did MJ afford all of these personal assistants, personal doctors, handlers etc? He’s $500,000,000 in debt!!

This sounds like the Heath Ledger story. there was a girl there and she waited to call 911 probably because of drugs in the apt or they were doing drugs.
The doctor was probably trying to revive him after giving him some drug(s). He probably panicked and waited too long to call 911.

Paramedics in Kaleefornia can, and do, pronounce people dead.

The article said — Once they arrived at UCLA, we’re told Jackson’s doc continued to personally administer CPR — even though it was clear Jackson was already gone.

Ummm... yeah... there was a yacht payment coming up. He couldn’t afford to lose a lucrative patient....

The “ranking” in Kaleefornia would be the EMT, then the Paramedic, then the Doctor.

Why was his physician there in the first place?
Per other reports, the doctor frequently gave MJ injections of Demerol (sp) for pain from old injuries. He had given MJ an injection about an hour before MJ stopped breathing.
The doctor may have been a part of the 'entourage'.

On Nancy Grace last night there was some guy (sorry I forget his name) who was either a family lawyer or family friend. He said that he suspected this was an OD and that over the years tried to speak to MJ’s family about his drug use but that no one listened. He also said that if OD is correct that he won't be keeping his mouth shut any longer (to the public, investigators).

As an EMT, we weren’t allowed to call it at the scene. A doctor had to do it, even it it was very obvious.

Anybody notice this? Ever taken a CPR class? Here's your first sign of incompetence...well ok maybe that big shot of Demerol was the first sign.

I knew the reports of “coma” at the hospital were BS.
Dead at home, transported to hospital as a formality.
To: badpacifist
Exactly. I have to be CPR certified for my job. Getting the patient onto the floor is the first thing I was taught.

Paramedics do not normally "pronounce" a patient as dead. That is the physicians job. Years ago the only people that could pronounce someone dead was a doctor or a CHP officer, unless it was compelling circumstances like the head ia here and the body is over there. But now not only paramedics, but an EMT as well can call a code.

“Last night it was suspected his collapse could have been caused by an overdose of painkillers.
An Emergency Room source at UCLA hospital said Jackson aides told medics he had collapsed after an injection of potent Demerol similar to morphine.
A Jacko source said: Shortly after taking the Demerol he started to experience slow shallow breathing.
His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped.”

"Uh, no, just the doctor sir. The doctor’s been the only one here." I have a funny feeling this doctor is going to be in deep do-do.

I am sure a lot will come out about MJ’s drug addiction now. But it definitely seems like the “personal doctor” was not doing him any favors by being there to shoot him up whenever he needed another hit. This kind of “doctor” should lose his license and in this case may be up for murder. After all, an MD should KNOW what would be a deadly amount of Demerol for a patient he was literally living with or fawning over every day. Therefore he should be in big trouble, if the country he flew to (just a guess, just a guess) has extradition to the USA.

Like some banks,
Jackson was “too big to fail”
or so they believed,
and kept throwing money at him.
That’s my take.
