Davis is running for Governor in 2010. Can’t imagine him voting yes on this.
bump
I called both numbers - here and D.C. for my Congressman...but he’s a died in the wool rat who probably will just do what Pelosi tells him to.

Duplicate ping!
Yup.
Yesterday I saw a phony analysis that pegged the current average consumer’s monthly electric rate at $99.00.
What crap.
My best months, without heating or A/C costs are $125.00-$140.00. Heating and cooling months run between $250-$280.
This is for an all-electric house in suburban Atlanta.
This is with limited use of the range/oven as I cook outdoors, with propane, most nights.
Dems say they have the votes.......unfortunately, I believe them since they would have held off the vote if they didn’t to have Obama give more a call.
We need to peel a few off. I am sure the vote is very close, so we would need only a few.
Congressman Marion Berry (D): CONFIRMED! VOTING NO!

Congressman Mike Ross (D) CONFIRMED! VOTING NO!

Congressman Vic Snyder (D):As of 1200 PM EST UNDECIDED (which for this liberal means, he'll do what Nancy Pelosi says!
202-225-2506 (Washington, D.C.)

Congressman John Boozman (R): CONFIRMED! VOTING HELL NO!
I couldn’t get through to Sen Casey (PA) all day yesterday but finally got through to the DC office today. Staffer said they’d put off the vote today, but then proceeded to give me his lefty talking points (they do this every time I call). They don’t listen at all, just spew. He insists that the Congressional Budget Office report (which he claims to have read just yesterday) says we’ll each save $175/year with this legislation. I couldn’t get him to back off on his talking points but he heard NO loud and clear and I told him (again) that I will work hard against Casey’s re-election if he votes for this monstrosity.
Then it belongs in breaking news, with the link to cspan ;)

C-SPAN was of course linked, BTW.
Just reached Vern Buchanan’s office - staffer says he’s voting no.
Ginny Brown-Waite (FL) - staffer just told me she has always been opposed and remains opposed to it.
Around these parts, the electric utility asked for and received a 15% per year raise for 3 consecutive years. As it stands now, should you use over X KWH/month (say, 1000 for argument’s sake) you are charged a FEE of $20 as a penalty.
Notice this is A) Local, B) Personal and C) exclusive of the federal legislation now being voted one, which is even more eggregious.
CLNE = Pickens, GE, Gore, Pelosi. Pelosi’s husband is in solar. Maybe Soros, too, who’s buying oil interests and agricultural land worldwide.
CDS swaps, futures, fees, administrators, trees, renewables. The thing covers everything, including folding in to the UNFCC and Millenium Goals project to control the environment and regulate global finance. If you think about how this would fit into an NWO scenario, you don’t have to even be a conspiracist. Even ACORN has changed its name to Community Organizations International and is going GLOBAL—maybe with part of this money.
If it passes, drive the country now and buy whatever you think you’ll need if you can. $5.00+ gas and who knows what tacked on to every single piece of merchandise bought, trucked, distributed or sold will have incremental rises at every level of transaction out of sheer necessity. The cost of food is going to be impacted by who knows what percent.
This measure is an 0bama ACORN for algore. It’s design is to feudalize the US.
