Keep 'em at home. They'd warm the place up in winter and keep the lawn trimmed in summer.
Unfortunately most American urban areas suffer from laws prohibiting the keeping of livestock. We must now work to change those laws to bring back civilized living in this country.

My thought exactly when i heard the MJ news.
The Dems will look upon this as an “opportunity” and slam through every liberal dream bill they can.
They are not there to be 0bama’s agenda drivers. They are the check against bad policy.
Do any of you remember last August in the House of Representative what happened? There was a rebellion.
We the People should demand records be made public of every damn closed door, midnight rendezvous committed in the House of Representatives. It is our House and we need to start acting like it.
Those folks up there are guests of the People. They occupy that House at our discretion.
Emails, letters, faxes, phone calls on legislation are being ignored. It is time to start reminding them of how they got their rooms in the House of the People. Elections of consequences, their votes have consequences too. We the People decide those consequences.
But for anyone who has been molested, the idea of waiting a day to “show respect” for a pedophile is more reprehensible than anything.
And for all you Freepers who I've offended, I understand if you are offended, but I don't plan on respecting this man. EVER!!!

Maybe ~ hey, with Cap and Tax in place it’s going to be difficult to heat your house, to say nothing of buy steak. However, if we did what folks did in the good old days, we could set aside a portion of the home (and with 2 story houses, the bottom floor) for our livestock.

I think you are on to something. Hey Maybe all the folks in the cities (as livestock will most definitely be out, unless of course for voodoo sacrifice)why not follow in Mrs Obama foot steps, plant a garden, not just any garden but WHOLE living room gardens, Apartments only. The higher the floor the bigger the garden. The government can even give everyone a free garden hose. Just think of all that fresh air............

I called my Missouri Democrat Congresscriter this afternoon. Was told that he had not made up his mind but they would be happy to pass my opinion on to his DC office. He is a more conservative democrat but believe calling congressmen can be rewarding. Remember the immigration debate last year!
BO just says that all the talk and facts of the opposition are just lies. It disgusts me. No one will call him on it either.

This may be one way to finally get rid of him. There will be a major uprising and call for the birth certificate if no one in America can afford anything because of BO. It could even be the death of liberalism and the dems for gernations to come.

Only problem I see with that is no matter how you clean or marinate politician, it will still taste like Turkey Vulture. You’ll never get the rotted carrion taste & smell out of it.
I think a dose of Zycam will help us get over that problem. Plus, almost anything cooked until “well done” will taste more like charcoal than meat.
So, even in their biased polling, support goes lower as the costs go higher. What are the chances that they polled people if the costs were as high as 400 a month.
Once again the state run media gives us the party line pure propoganda. 1) 75% of American want this ? I would have to question who was polled (demographics) where was poll conducted. I bet it wasn’t West Virginia, or any state using coal. 2)$10 a month for electricity? I wonder if these same people would say yes, if they realized that eventually their electricity bills would increase by 90%.
We haven’t even discused the rise in cost of every good and service produced in the US. Everything we buy or sell will increase in price. As the cost of these energy credits increases who will pay that increased cost. We the consumer will pay. Green energy is not cheap! It cost more than “fossil fuels.” It is also less effiecient that fossil fuels.
How can you say energy bill when nuclear power is not in this bill? I think if you want cheap affordable energy, then nuclear is the way to go. It is the only viable, long term energy repalacement that is cheap at this time.
Love how they polled people, asking if they would support it if their electricity bills would be 10 dollars a month higher. AS IF that was going to be the true cost, when the real cost is going to be in the hundreds per month, in not only electricity, but gas too. Not to mention everything we buy.
The pro-Democracy demonstrators in Iran made the same miscalculation.
