WESTWOODAmerican icon and pop singer Michael Jackson died on Thursday, June 25, according to breaking reports. TMZ first reported that Jackson, 50, passed away.
Jackson was known for his slew of popular songs over the last four decades, including "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" and for his now-legendary mini-movie/music video for "Thriller" which is still a very popular song and music video today, more than 20 years later.
Jackson was also known for his singular antics off the stage, including his wearing of pajamas to court appearances and apparently dangling one of his children off of a balcony.
According to available information, authorities responded to a call that Jackson was in distress early on Thursday afternoon, and soon after transported him to the world famous UCLA Medical Center.
MichaelJackson.com reveals that the singer and proclaimed "King of Pop" was scheduled to perform in quite a few concerts in the United Kingdom between July 8, 2009 and March 6, 2010.
Jackson would have been 51 this August.

This video shows Michael Jackson performing Billie Jean and the Moonwalk for the first time at the Mowtown 25th Anniversary.
It’s an amazing piece of history. This performance alone took Michael’s superstardom to a whole new level. Michael was getting calls from dance legends like Gene Kelly asking him how on earth he danced like that. Literally no one had ever seem such a performance.
Hear the gasp of the crowd as they witness the first Moonwalk. Michael then follows that with an amazing spin, which again is another very difficult dance move. On completion of the spin, he bends his knees and rises up on his toes.
Michael stated years later to Oprah Winfrey in 1993 that he wasn’t happy with his whole performance, in particular when rising up on his toes as he had intended to stay up on his toes longer.
And now Jeff Goldblum... fell to his death filming...

Fake story, see post 198
How long will it be before the army of weirdos turn up to lay wreaths and bouquets at his home?
“Not trying to be callus, but is it appropriate to say God Bless to a cult member?”
To be on the safe side, say “Jehovah Bless”
I don't know if this makes a difference, but actually, Shep said, "a kid of color...."
About thirty minutes ago.
Munchkins
Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. He’s gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let’s open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong’ the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!
Oops... Sorry Mr Goldblum, if you’re reading this.
Fake post caught me.
I’m listening to the sick reporters fawning but that is what people do.
I suspect shep smith had a crush on jackson.
You: May God rest his soul despite your cold, callous, uncouth, no respect for the loved ones, no time to grieve remark!
Perhaps you don't know the meaning of RIP = Requiescant in pacem / Rest in Peace. How-some-ever I am sorry for his death but it is the overdone coverage that I am protesting. This is the kind of thing that is best covered by an organized retrospective after the dust clears. Breathless news conferences and overhead shots of the hospital are meaningless pap filling air time.
I never thought of it as nomenclature, but then again I only have an associates degree.
Don't worry, I don't think Jeff Goldblum, a BIG LIB, would be on this site.
“see the pathetic little crowd... I had more than that in my high school band.” - LOL! I think those are just reporters.
(Except you have to wonder why bring it up,}
Shep is a ‘Drama Queen’ and it was his way of pointing that being a colored kid is the lowest form of life and he went on to be the greatest human being to ever walk the face of the earth.
(meanwhile back in washington...)
What’s creepy is that they started showing up 15 minutes after death was announced, in costume.
Probably happening as we speak......
Gotta admit the guy could dance.
