I now know more about this woman and this affair in one day than I knew about Edwards and his Mistress after 2 years.
To: traumer
He has a wife that loved him enough to bear him four healthy and handsome sons and he goes and screws another woman, on fathers day no less.
Just once I would like to see one of these wives walk out from behind the podium and kick the guys gonads up to his throat, THEN say they will enter counseling.

I think based on the very poor economy and our ever increasing number of unemployed workers that Sanford’s escapades will be quickly forgotten, and he will be forced to resign.

I can imagine the news and paparazzi hysteria and feeding frenzy for a look at Maria Shapur, the “other woman”. Were I she, I would have found a safe haven from those ghouls. Governor Sanford is far from the first to be felled by his libido nor will he be the last. As Republicans are supposed to be above such earthy urges, he will be scorned rather than idolized for bad behavior like Bill Clinton or Barny Franks who ran a male prostitution out of his basement for gay men...they are Democrats and as such, they have manners and the base morals expected of them.

Best thing for these guys is for the wife to divorce him and let him have his “soul mate”, “true love heart” person. That’s what my sister did after 30 years of marriage. Just let him have the young thing with skirts up to her ying yang. What a site today, some ten years later. She is as wide as the doorway, nags him 24/7, and he has to work full time at age 70 because she spends money they don’t have. Their debt load is unbelievable.
Meanwhile my sister remarried a nice widow guy and lives quietly and happily with the grown children nearby.
Just let the guys have their sexy beauty and time will tell the story.
And I say the same thing for women who do this too. Fact is, this kind of adultry is unnecessary today. In the 1940’s maybe, but not today. Get your divorce first if this is the course you want, then do whatever you want. Show respect for God, your wife, husband, children, family and your country.

Doesn’t matter what she is like or looks like. He is just as big a scum bag, whether she is a beauty with brains or some dumb as a box of rocks, ugly as sin woman.

Okay, guys and gals, answer me this: WHY does a woman entice a married man OR allow herself to BE enticed by a married man?
I'm divorced twice. My first EX was a Lutheran Pastor who was "counseling" a teenaged parishioner. Her Dad made it too easy for them to be in compromising positions. That marriage didn't last and she found someone closer to her age . . . she was 14 years his junior. My second EX had been flirting with a co-worker before we got married. Then he changed his job hours to 3rd Shift to be with her . . . on the sofa in the break room.
When I found out that a musician friend who was wanting a closer relationship was still married (they lived in TN) . . . he'd lied to me . . . I broke off the relationship. It took me two years to get over that. Shortly after my first divorce I had a married male friend who wanted more, but I respected his wife and refused. Why am I the "good person" who can't seem to find a loyal man?
WHY do women entice other women's husbands? Why do married men entice women who are not their wives?
Is it because marriage is no longer considered sacred and "till DEATH do we part" ~~ some ceremonies even say "until our love dies."
