Reports: Iran Riot Police Shooting Protesters 'Like Animals'

New violence erupted in Iran Wednesday as riot police fired tear gas and shot protesters "like animals," according to Internet reports.
Twitter users believed to be in Tehran are painting a grim picture there, reporting beatings and gunfire on demonstrators supporting opposition presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi. These reports, obtained by Sky News, could not be independently confirmed by FOX News.
Police beat the protesters gathered on Baharestan Square with batons and fired tear gas canisters and rounds of ammunition into the air, the witnesses told The Associated Press. They said some demonstrators fought back while others fled to another Tehran plaza, Sepah Square, about a mile to the north.

Don’t you know this is Bush’s fault. If Bush and Cheney had Iran leaders over for ice cream, none of this would have happened.
Are we really surprised that they will shoot their own? I am not.
Do Democrats want to pose as paper tigers to Iran and North Korea? Yes. Are Democrats willing to have convictions on such things? No, they will likely make a motion at the UN to call world attention to this and hope that Iran will change its way.
I can't wait to see what the USN vessel following the North Korean ship is going to do.
