Sadly, 0bama is so bad that he is making all GOP candidates look better by comparison.

I think more people trust Palin.
There is a core there that isn’t going to cave.

Flip Romney is part of the problem, not part of the solution. It’s a mystery to me how this flim-flam artist has so many people fooled.

opinion of Romney has improved across most political and demographic groups, but the shift has been particularly pronounced among independents.

RINOs for Romney.

I think Palin has a lot of potential. She wasn’t ready for the big show last time around and the McCain people never were able to utilize her to her full potential, but there’s certainly something there.

She needs to spend the next few years boning up on foreign policy issues and getting a professional communications team around her to avoid the embarassing gaffes from last time (such as the turkey slaughter episode).

She speaks to a lot of people who are sick of the DC crowd talking down to them (and I say this as a DC resident with some involvement in politics). She does have an uphill battle when it comes to the media- they loathe her almost as much as they hated Bush.

The GOP nomination is her’s to lose at this point. But, if Obama screws up as much as I hope he will, she will be in a decent position in 2012, if she chooses to run.

I always love the Pew poll because the headlines are never what the poll reveals. Note that among Republicans Palin has 73% positive name recognition and Romney does not. Ha Ha Ha Ha

Discuss? No, dismiss! If we didn't learn the bloody hard way after 2008 to ignore the SRM polls that are rigged to put forth the RINOs they want and bury the effective Republicans, we're never going to learn. Whether it's a beauty contest poll like this or a horserace poll, the best thing to do is dismiss it.

And before anyone says anything, this has nothing to do with Romney or any other Republican mentioned by Pew. I'm not calling him a RINO or a conservative for that matter. I would be saying the same thing if Pew put out a poll saying everyone loves Sarah Palin. I truly believe the SRM polls played a large part in making both McCain and Huckabee appear far more viable than they were.

Getting away from the polls AND doing away with open Republican primaries will go a long way toward avoiding another election disaster in 2012.

Romney - His corruption is just like the others, but NOT Gov. Palin.

Palin’s approval ratings are split evenly. Considering the media onslaught, I thought Palin’s approval ratings would be in the high 30s.

Neither, thank you very much.

How about we promote FOR A CHANGE, as a prospective candidate, one who does NOT propose ANY AMNESTY OF ANY KIND FOR ANY ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin visited USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) Monday, where she met crew members and thanked them for their service.

Palin accepted the invitation to visit Stennis, which is in the Gulf of Alaska participating in exercise Northern Edge 2009.

“When we saw the invitation come across my desk, we jumped at it,” said Palin. “We said, ‘Yes, whatever it takes, let’s get out there and let’s thank these fine young men and women for serving America on this carrier.’”

The governor’s visit began with an arrested landing in a C-2A Greyhound from the “Providers” of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30.

Later, Palin visited flight deck control, then donned flight deck safety gear in order to observe flight operations from the flight deck.

Palin saw Sailors and Marines in action when she toured the bridge, primary flight control, the hangar bays and a weapons magazine.

Palin spoke with approximately 400 Stennis crew members in hangar bay two and thanked them for their service. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you,” said Palin. “I love the United States military, and I thank you so much for the choice that you have made to serve something greater than self, to be serving your country and to be bettering our world.”

Romneycare is imploding in Massachusetts.

Besides, Sarah is more of a man than Mitt. She gets my vote.
