As for myself, I have decided to start my battle at the home front. My wife deleted the Rush icon from the desktop the moment we returned from the electronics store, and I am going to put him back up. He sounds like a real take charge kind of man.

In the past I’ve turned down the car radio volume on the Larry Elder show before stepping outside the car to pump gas in this fairly black neighborhood. For shame!

While this sounds like complete conceit, I pride myself on my conservatism. I feel as though, in at least some subtle way, I have a better grasp on the realities of life. That I have a grasp of the American dream. Work hard, succeed or at least have pride that I did what I could. That bad people are out there and we need to stand firm. Have faith in our fellow man, obviously the liberals don’t. That we are a people that can govern our own lives and if we don’t we are FREE to fail. That when a person needs help I will gladly help if not forced to. That I can be free to think as I do.

Why does his wife and he equate Rush with racism? When has Rush ever said anything racist?

Oh, for pity’s sake...
As a Hispanic male, I gotta say it: some white people are just plain pathetic.
I’m still convinced that about 1/4 of Obama’s vote came from guilty whites (of all political persuasions) who didn’t want to be thought of as racist.
GET OVER IT ALREADY!

Obviously, an infinite amount of work needs to be done on behalf of the conservative movement if we are going to return to power one day soon.Rush is an entertainer and is milking it. Can't say I blame him.
He says a lot of things for impact upon a frustrated segment of society that is outrageous for effect, not calculated to achieve political viability. He is politically counterproductive outside his target audience. Someone like Rush will keep you listening, but will never go far politically, because of the outrageous sound bites.

My wife deleted the Rush icon from the desktop the moment we returned from the electronics store, and I am going to put him back up. After your divorce, go back and ask the tech whether or not he was bothered by the Rush images. Most likely he was just relieved that he didn't encounter kiddie porn.

Lord. I would never mess with my honey’s computer. For SHAME! It is his personal property. We both have lots of Rush and anything else conservative on our computers. Honestly I am proud. If the tech see it all the better. I am a really cool gal and so is my man. We’re representin’. :-). Spreadin’ the word through attraction.

Harold Witkov here's a free gift for you — it's a pearl drop of wisdom.
Harold, not everyone is going to like you.
Not everyone is going to like me.
It's a fact of life.
Now Harold, just remember this:
Everyday is a gift from God.
Open your gift each day and use it wisely.

Today I went into a janitorial supply store to buy some cleaning stuff. I noticed a vacuum cleaner there similar to the one I own. As of late I have had trouble finding disposable bags for it. I noticed the one at the store had a reusable bag and I asked what the price for the bag was. The salesperson said that most people don't like using the reusable bag because of the damage it can do to the enviorment and the dust released back into the house. I told him that I want the largest carbon footprint possible and if the reusable bag would help that cause he can consider it sold. He gave me this look of shock and mumbled something to himself. I was hoping for a heated exchange but the young salesperson would not engage me. Maybe the next time I go to that store I can help him understand the way things ought to be.

Reminds me of the time I went to Barnes and Noble and had to ask for help to find a David Horowitz book. The clerk put the Author's name in the computer, and the book “Hating Whitey” popped up on the screen.
The clerk, a young college student, then showed me where the book was on the shelf. He didn't smile at all, and my observation was that he wasn't very happy that I was buying the book.
