Polar bears are not dying out and Turkey Twizzlers are fine, according to a new book from scientists wishing to challenge science "scare stories"
Contrary to widely held belief, polar bear populations are rising, according to the scientists

But a new book, compiled by Stanley Feldman, a professor of anaesthetics at London University, and Vincent Marks, a former professor of clinical biochemistry and dean of medicine at the University of Surrey, are questioning the end of the world and healthy eating tips.

Fears about hamburgers are irrational. Most countries' national dish is based on minced meat, with none suffering from a junk food-related epidemic. Obesity is not caused by these foods, but by those who gorge on it. They can't say that in public, can they?

Well, I always did wonder how the greenies can explain the continuing presence of polar bears since it’s been much warmer in the past.
Where did all the polar bears go in the Middle Ages when it was warm enough to grow crops in Greenland?
Did they all commandeer a Viking ship and sail further north?

Forty years ago the alligators were headed for extinction now I can hardly think of a bigger pest. Nasty critters, too.
Polar Bears have studied alligators, and are using their method as a comeback. Bears aren't dumb.

But...huh-uh, the polar bears are too dying out ‘cause I saw a WWF commercial that said so. And there was some celebrity guy in the commercial, so there. ;)
I don’t care if they are made of real turkey, just the thought of a turkey twizzler makes me gag.

Facts don’t matter to the global communist movement, also falsely known as environmentalists.

I agree it is not the fault of hamburgers. Or fast food chains. I got fat eating at home! I rarely go to burger joints, only when on a long car trip and my husband DRAGS me into one. I managed to get fat at home eating good food, just too much. I am on a diet and half way to my goal. I continue to avoid burger joints and hot dog stands. But they did not make me fat to start with. You can get fat eating too much oatmeal for goodness sakes!

If I were an evil “Captain Planet Eco Villian” I wouldn’t mess around with sludge-ing the grand canyon. Instead I would capture about 100 polar bears and move them over to the south pole to facilitate the extinction of the penguins, heh!
I wonder if polar bears could subsist entirely on penguins? Probably and their numbers would explode!

I just saw a commercial for the WWF that pulled that *polar bears are going extinct* mantra.
They’re losing their hunting grounds and are starving to death.
The solution, of course, is to make your donation today.

Polar bears and brown bears are just different breeds of the same basic species.
