Just reported. No link yet. My son told me a friend of his was at Love Field when it happened and a security person told him that they had found explosives. There were police everywhere according to my son's friend and the airport traffic was shut down.
The news is reporting that a security dog hit on an unattended package but the authorities are not releasing any info yet on whether or not is was explosives.

Please post the link if you have time. Just found it online. Thanks!
Much to do about nothing according to this report. Dallas police saying it was not explosives.
Very strange..the reporter on the news said they didn’t know just now, but the link says otherwise.
Oh well...sorry for the alarm.

BTTT..
Sooo, is it too late for a, “Bush’s Fault,” siren?
;-)
A suspicious bag at baggage claim caused delays at Love Field Sunday afternoon.
A bomb sniffing dog hit on a package inside a green bag around 2:45 Sunday afternoon while walking rounds. The package was secured while the Dallas Police Bomb Squad was called in. Love Field officials say the bomb squad took the package to a safe area to determine what was inside.
Southwest Airlines officials say the bag caused delays to the airline as planes flying in to Love Field had to be held at their departing airports. Departures from Love Field were also slightly delayed as passengers were not able to get to their gates.
Once the device was removed airport and airline officials said operations began returning to normal and that continued delays would be minimal.
Dallas Police say the package was determined not to be an explosive device.
LOL...yep. That’s the last time I take my son’s word on stuff like this...lol.
It's a good thing you put it in breaking news.
I don’t think much more will be coming of it. Sounds like it was a false alarm. Sorry for jumping the gun here.
I talked with my ex husband(waiting at airport in Dallas). The airport was in lock-down and police still swarming 15 minutes ago.
I'm getting a drink!
Probably a false alarm, as you say. But there’s at least a small chance that the FBI found something and decided to cover it up. It wouldn’t be the first time they’ve done that.
The excuse is that they don’t won’t to upset people. But also Obama and Holder will have given orders not to release information that might make Muslims look bad.
Maybe nothing, maybe something, ping
Thanks for the report. Dallas police reporting that it was not explosives but you never know with the clowns in charge in DC now. They might be instructing the locals to keep their mouths shut. I don’t feel safe anymore like I did when President Bush was in charge...that’s for sure. Some security guard told my son’s friend that it was explosives.
Fireworks for the forth of July?
It is a bit suspicious the way it is being handled.
Got a text - her plane has landed at Dallas. Just hope they let her exit.
He WAS right about why the disturbance there. It was the dog that was wrong.
Perhaps. Whatever it was, the bomb dog hit on it and it was unattended. Hope the dog doesn’t lose his job. I love highly trained dogs like that. It is awesome to watch them work.
This is what’s so great about FR. No matter where in the world something is happening there’s a freeper or a freeper’s cousin, brother etc with firsthand reports!
Muslims or Obama. We wouldn’t want the general populace to think the Messiah can’t keep us safe.
Have you noticed that the daily reminders of war casualty totals have stopped? We lost two soldiers in A’stan this morning. Nary a word. Makes me sick.
