JERUSALEM (AP) Israeli President Shimon Peres has applauded pro-reform protesters in Iran, saying he hopes for an end to Iran's hard-line leadership.
Sunday's comments from Israel's ceremonial president are among the highest-level expressions of support for the protesters so far from Israel, Iran's bitter enemy.

There is no way to know how big this will get. in the meantime, we should show whatever support we can for their cause. You can do this by displaying a small piece of green ribbon. you can buy 200 feet of green surveyors tape at Home Depot for $1.99. it is non-sticky. just break off a couple of feet and tie it to your antenna, your flagpole underneath your american flag, or the handlebars of your Harley. If thousands of us do this it will send a strong message to the American tyrants as well as the Iranian ones.
Hmmmmm.... Didn’t Peres get 0bama’s message that support for the protesters will do more harm than good?....(sarc)
Funny how the Manchurian President supports Hamas over Israel.
Israel has always had it right on who Hamas is. Jimmy Carter also supports Hamas. He was probably telling Hamas to send their freedom fighters to Iran to make sure the Iranians were surpressed.
You have to love Obama and the democrats as they are testing their plan for Obama’s SS Brown shirts.
Contrast this to Obambi’s “Please pretty please stop murdering your citizens because everyone’s watching you” statements
Maybe he should keep his mouth shut as opening viocing an opinion may backfire. This could give the Mullahs the old “ the Jews and the USA is controlling us and we wont back down” Excuse.
Obama should speak out because we are the greatest promoter of freedom in the world{ or was until we elected Czar Obama I} But Israel is a sworn enemy of Iran.
Israelis should be watching carefully with an eye towards taking the opportunity of internal Iranian turmoil to launch a strike
Fixed it.
And Hamas has returned the favor, sending gunmen and thugs to beat and kill protesters in Iran this weekend.
Interesting article from Caroline Glick urging full blown verbal and concrete support for Iran’s protesters

Iran Regime is using Hamas and Hezbollah to police and attack the protesters. Reports say the headbashers are speaking Arabic not Farsi.
