CBS News reporter Mark Knoller issued a sharp retort to people on Twitter responding with derision to critics of Barack Obama's decision to go out for ice cream today while Iran is in the midst of a citizens revolt:
"Surprised by the outrage at the ice cream outing. What is it you expect or want the US to do about Iran? Attack? War?"
Knoller's liberal defense of Obama is not surprising. Four years ago he was Cindy Sheehan's head cheerleader when she arrived in Crawford, Texas to launch a protest against President Bush and the was in Iraq. Knoller failed to report that Sheehan was a supporter of the terrorists in Iraq who described them as "freedom fighters" to Knoller in an exclusive interview she gave him.
One could envision the drool hanging from Knoller's crusty beard as the portly liberal reporter Twittered about Obama's ice cream purchases:

I think the word is syncophant to describe that kind of “reporter”.
What I want is for 0bama to quit treating the whole thing as a sideshow for his greatness. What I expect is for him to watch Ahmadinajad blow a few dozen students away and then go shake his hand in a photo opportunity just before he begins a round of self-aggrandizing and useless negotiations to end a nuclear weapons program that the mullahs have no intention of ending.
What I'd gladly accept as a compromise is for somebody in the lickspittle press to remember why it was they got into journalism in the first place.

What do you want to bet the WH freezers are full of ice cream of all types, and if they're not, they could be in a short time.
The thing is, he acts as if he is just another citizen, he is not, he was elected(or not)to do a job and he isn't doing it except in a totally destructive way towards America. We know why he is not sounding tough against the existing Iranian leadership, he is a coward.
Obama should have been at the White House caring, instead of taking his daughters for ice cream.
