President Obama on Saturday called on the Iranian government to "stop all violent and unjust actions against its own people" amid calls for the White House to go further in showing support for the Iranian people after the country's disputed elections.

Republicans, in particular, have pressed Obama to speak out more forcefully, as protesters and authorities clashed Saturday in Tehran during a government crackdown.

"The universal rights to assembly and free speech must be respected and the United States stands with all who seek to exercise those rights," Obama said in a written statement.

I’m just mad about Saffron
Saffron’s mad about me
I’m just mad about Saffron
She’s just mad about me

{Refrain}
They call me mellow yellow
(Quite rightly)
They call me mellow yellow

They call me mellow yellow

I’m just mad about Fourteen
Fourteen’s mad about me
I’m just mad about Fourteen
She’s just mad about me

{Refrain}

Born high forever to fly

Electrical banana

They call it mellow yellow

They call me mellow yellow

Saffron — yeah
I’m just mad about her
I’m just mad about Saffron
She’s just mad about me

{Refrain}

(Oh so yellow, oh so mellow)

As I said on the other thread unless the demi god Obama says it himself they won't care. They have to hear it from his purple lips.

Also, note the use of "unjust". Therefore if the mullahs of Iran decide the use of force is just Obambi's down with it.

My country, ‘tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims’ pride,
From every mountainside
Let freedom ring!

My native country, thee,
Land of the noble free,
Thy name I love;
I love thy rocks and rills,
Thy woods and templed hills;
My heart with rapture thrills,
Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees
Sweet freedom’s song;
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break,
The sound prolong.

Our father’s God to Thee,
Author of liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright,
With freedom’s holy light,
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God our King.

I’m sure those in the Iranian government are shaking in their boots scared to death! /s

Big deal, Obama has spoken...AGAIN, and again, and again. I’m sick of his face & voice every time I try to watch or listen to something! He is in our face constantly!

Rep. Darrell Issa one of our good San Diego Republican Congressmen said on FOX News re Iran & BO:

The Obama administration took a first step today,” California Rep. Darrell Issa told FOX News. “Obviously, Congress was well ahead of the president. I think the president is playing catch-up.”

Issa said the president, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other Obama officials should make a series of additional statements to demonstrate when the United States stands.

“You have to support these people whose aspirations are only freedom,” he said.

Rep. Issa out front with others pushing Boma and other Dems to speak up and speak out.

“The universal rights to assembly and free speech must be respected and the United States stands with all who seek to exercise those rights,” Obama said in a written statement.

Save this quote. We will see how respectful Obama is when our turn comes to go to the streets to protest his actions and those of this wrong-headed congress. The time is coming. From everything I have seen thus far, this guy only represents only half of the citizens and interests in this country in this country....and it is not the productive producers who respect the law, pay into the economic system, do not expect a handout, believe in God and say speak English.It is our national language. Period.

It will be interesting to see how much of this sticks to Obama in the coming months. I think he’s forever tainted as a weak, inexperienced leader, a coward, who couldn’t even stand up for freedom from a distance of 6,300 miles. A townhall meeting won’t be enough to change that.

“A written statement?

Similar to the words put out 3 days after the fact on the NG shootings—but not on camera. Was there EVER any statement on the ice storm of last winter from OK through KY?

When Russia invaded South Ossetia in Georgia,
Barry was critized for issuing a wishy washy statement:

“I strongly condemn the outbreak of violence in Georgia, and urge an immediate end to armed conflict. Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint..”

I do not have the quote, but, I read that Obama also issued a lukewarm statement on September 11, 2001.

“I’m sick of his face & voice every time I try to watch or listen to something! He is in our face constantly!”

Decades ago the Government realized that by controlling the MSM they control the country. Even when there’s an obvious answer the SHEEPLE will listen to the government. Idiot Americans are everywhere, the video is proof that is true.
