Though a longtime freeper, this is my first ever vanity here.
I felt it's important to post this vanity about CNN's coverage of the post so-called "elections" in Iran which in my opinion has been one of the best and most thorough in this country. I have already sent them an email thanking them for their excellent coverage because contrary to the left which never acknowledges anything positive on the right, we should, and do, give credit where credit's due.
THEREFORE, THANK YOU CNN FOR FINALLY -- AND SO FULLY AND TRUTHFULLY -- COVERING THE MASS PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT FOR DEMOCRACY IN IRAN!
You are wrong. Twitter was again, sending the #CNNfail tweets, because CNN is using State run Iranian footage with NO confirmation of what had happened. Accept it, CNN is not credible.
You do err. I did not call anyone a Liar. I did point a lie that was told though.
Very Clintonesque. Mind your manners. Act like you have some sense. Soon, you will, if you last long enough.
It always appears to me that CNN awaits the talking points from Obamadinajad before going forward with coverage on anything that may threaten the relationship. Got to stay in bed with Dear One.
That’s ‘AYATOILETTE Amanpour” if you please.
Yet in all other ways they are traitors.... no thanks.
I think it would be like telling a cheating wife that she looks nice... right before she goes out to meet with her lover.
Other than occasionally looking in to see what Dobbs is ranting about, I wouldn’t watch CNN if it was the last outlet in the world. I remember their traitor antics during Desert Storm and when it comes to turning against our country, I never forget...... or forgive.
OTOH, I never said everything CNN was broadcasting was the gospel truth & I can decipher what's State run propoganda..
But they ARE reporting.
Maybe I should switch back to FOX where they are kissing Obama's butt for the funny jokes he made last night.

Freddd has a point. Let him voice it.
Born in London to a Iranian father and a British mother. Upon returning to Iran the family lived, according to Wikipedia, a "privileged" life under the Shah. They fled Iran during the Islamic Revolution.
I cannot stop anyone for saying anything at all. I can (and will) offer helpful advice from my years on this board, of what is and what is not allowed.
Thanks for that info.
I will never defend CNN, but you are out of line accusing parisa of lying. His perception may be different than yours, but that doesn’t make him a liar, nor his post.
I see that your new here, you may want to approach your posts differently... if you plan to stick around.
Worthless low lives (spit)figure out every angle that can support their communist socialist views and then show it.
Sanity is retained when one questions everything, i mean everything, they televise.
As an Iranian American I've learned to grown a thick skin under all conditions!
I think it is dangerous to think of what is going on in Iran in western terms such as “Freedom” and “democracy.” The most likely result here is that the uprising is brutally crushed. If it succeeds, it’s not clear to me that anything recognizable as freedom or democracy will be the result. The best we get is, I suspect, a slightly less odious regime.
I didn't know..So maybe some people can understand why you'd be hungry for any news coming out of there today...from anywhere you can get it!

Thanks Gator113 for your support. I am a “she” though, :o) and as I mentioned before being an Iranian American has taught me to grow a pretty thick skin through and through.
And I never said I agree w/ CNN on everything they report, and of course they have a leftist slant, but their wall to wall coverage of anti-mullah riots today makes it all the more impressive.
Yes. I agree. I have been watching CNN since about 4 am ET, since every other news channels was just showing repeats. And even though I can’t stand Xtianne Ama(terrorists)whore. they have been doing a good job with their coverage. As grudgingly as I may be granting them that appraisal.
It’s actualy more like I’m heartened that such left-leaning media with all their left-leaning audience are finally exposed and educated about the real situation in Iran. It is indeed good news, and I’m sure it’ll be eye-opening lesson for all of the obamabots who might change their minds about what their leaders have fed them about Iran and the legitimacy of mullahs’ regime and their messiah’s plans to open his fists towards the mullahs while throwing Iranians under the bus! That’s my whole point and perhaps I didn’t explain better.
“I am a she though”
Well, I had a 50-50 chance of being right. ;>)
