The Iranian people aren’t really protesting the vote.
The theft of the election by the ruling mullahs was only the straw that broke the camel’s back for the Iranian people, and it’s what caused them to finally stand up to demand a major change in their government.
That’s why they’re protesting in the millions. They want the mullahs out.
It’s only a matter of time before the mullahs do a Tienanmen Square on the protesters. Once they kill 10 or 20 thousand of them like the Chinese did the people will fall back into place.
HA! don’t you just love an optimist like Dogbarktree?
Yeesh...how does he think a change occurrs...Oh, I know...the Mullahs tyrannically control a country for decades and one morning .....POOF !..the regime has become a secular democracy.
“Thats why theyre protesting in the millions. They want the mullahs out.”
That is how I am reading it. I don’t think they liked either choice for president, they want to return to their Persian roots. I met several Iranians in 1979 after their families sent them to the US when all hell broke loose and the mullahs took over. They want their country back!
I can relate to them very well at this time in history.
