The Best Of Times And The Worst Of Times For Chris Dodd
The Day ^ | 6/16/09 | Gail Collins

Posted on 06/18/2009 12:34:37 PM PDT by Califreak

Big week in Washington, what with final action on the tobacco regulation bill, under the leadership of Sen. Christopher Dodd.

Congress has really been on a roll. Remember how they passed that consumer credit card bill under the leadership of Sen. Christopher Dodd and the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act sponsored by Sen. Christopher Dodd? There is, of course, still so much to do. We're hoping for a strong health care bill like the one co-written by Ted Kennedy and Sen. Christopher Dodd. And the Obama plan to create a new agency to protect consumers of financial products. It got a big boost Friday when it received the strong support of the banking committee chairman, Sen. Christopher Dodd.

What is it with this guy? Are they running out of senators or something?

"Like most seasoned political animals, Dodd's response to his plummeting polls is to do stuff. Run around your home state. (He had a listening tour!) Make a splash in Washington. (Four bill-signing ceremonies in four months!) Find new ways to reach out to the masses. (Oh, Lord! He's Twittering.)"

Dodd and his wife are drooling over how they can cash in on the health care boondoggle.

Dodd’s father was a kleptomaniac. Dodd Jr is a Bernie Madoff sized thief.

Make a splash in Washington

Isn't that Kennedy's job?

The Demonrats can truly be called an instrument of evil. They have this myth going how they are great for the poor and downtrodden and how they care yet the reality is they are an instrument of evil who does nothing but spread suffering and they are elitist pigs who do not abide by laws and rules they set for everybody else. It is an exception rather than a rule to find a genuine, well-intentioned person in that party. They are the domestic enemies referred to in the oath and they have destroyed this country from within. Dodd is a prime example of the scum that rules the Demonrat party.

“(Oh, Lord! He’s Twittering.)”

That’s better than ‘senatorial sandwich server sandwiches’, isn’t it?

Gag me with a spoon! This article surely deserves a mega-BARF alert!

The writer basically ignores the “Friends of Angelo” situation and dismisses the wife’s amazing accumulation of Board of Director gigs. He could have also mentioned that Dodd comes from a long line of corrupt Connecticut politicians. And Dodd’s amazing gall to think he was a credible candidate for President.

I just hope the good people of Connecticut give him as much support as his beloved home-staters of Iowa gave me in 2008.

Very few people make all the decisions in the senate, house and white house.

Soros, Alinsky, Ayers, Marx and a few others are the driving force.

The Constitution has a great clause in it that allows the people to change the governmental when it gets this corrupt.

We threw King George out.

The King is dead.

Long live the King! (Of The World: Obama, Dodd, Reid, Pelosi Murtha et al and rampant corruption-—rampant corruption=redundant)

“Actually I tend to like Mustard, not ketchup on my burgers & sandwiches.”

My comment was a personal choice of mine not to purchase Heinz/kerry products.

I too like your choice of condiment.

I recently sent a check to Rob Simmons’ campaign for the Senate.

Yes, I know he’s not exactly Freeper material in terms of conservatism - but I think he’s head and shoulders better than Dodd.

Check out his website:
