Regulate Behavior, Not the Economy: Jack Welch
CNBC Online ^ | June 18, 2009

The government should focus on regulating behavior rather than overhauling the whole economy to prevent a future economic crisis from taking hold, Jack Welch, author of "Winning" and "Straight from the Gut," told CNBC Thursday.

"I'm telling you, you regulate behavior and you get better results. Through management, through boards… stronger leadership," he added.

GE is the parent company of CNBC.

Welch has gone soft on the brain. But this reminds me that Congress loves the federal income tax because they use the tax code as a means of regulating our behavior, gaining control over our lives.

To get rid of the federal income tax and the IRS, support the Fair Tax. See www.fairtax.org There is legislation pending in both the House and Senate designed to completely eradicate the federal income tax system, but it is being held up by Rangel and the other Socialists.

Welch has gone soft on the brain

I never thought this guy was all that the media built him up to be...and that alone is a hint at where his brain is at. Don't kid yourself anyone, he built the foundation for liberal activist GE and hand picked Jeff Immelt to be his successor.

Jack misses one major issue in his "regulate behavior" strategy...it can work in business models because there are choices of companies we can work for...when regulating behavior of a nation, who determines the standards and where does one go if you don't like them?

The whole thing is liberal trash...boo Jack Welch.

The government should not be doing either. Jack Welch is an idiot. Why don’t someone regulate him?

Welch’s Kool Aid, just add the cyanide and we’ll make major progress. Maybe he can get all of his sycophant’s to drink.

“Bring on the Matrix!”

What do you mean “Bring on the Matrix?” The day I was let go from my job was the day I was unplugged.

“Regulate Behavior, Not the Economy: Jack Welch”

That’s the idiotic mentality we’re dealing with. Apparently he’s drinking Immelt’s Kool-Aid. It’s been reported GE received a big gov’t bail out and stands in line to profit from Bam’s green projects. Welch is still a big stockholder in GE.

Idiots like Welch and Immelt have made GE what it is today - a mafia cesspool of greed and corruption - take it from one who works there.

Speaking of the economy. I’m going to post this on every relevant thread. There are jobs in WV. Our governor is giving a big push for people to come to WV and stay. I want those people coming to WV to stay to be conservatives. So all of you out there who are looking to relocate or looking for a job, go to www.hometowv.com and check out the jobs and business links. Wish I knew how to make a working link, but alas, I’m computer challenged.
