Support in the U.S. House for a proposal that would require presidential candidates to provide documentation of how they meet the U.S. Constitution's requirement that the person who occupies the Oval Office be a "natural born citizen" suddenly has quadrupled.

There now are four cosponsors to H.R. 1503 from freshman Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., an amendment to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.

Nice thing about this is they can suport H.R. 1503 without having to actually state that they think Zerø is a total fraud.

just make sure it is ‘veto-proof’

With 250+ Democrat congressmen and 60 Democrat Senators? There's no chance of it ever passing much less getting a veto overridden.

Every state should have the same law..every GOP’er in State and federal govt should sign on the sponsor. Just think what the Rats would do if this were an issue for them.

Tell ex-IG Walpin to bring it up in his “improper dismissal” law suit. Opossum would have to be properly qualified to assert Presidential authority to fire him.

This is jumping the gun. The key is to get this done in a state. Any state will do.

Then, let Zero explain why he isn’t even on the ballot in that state in 2012.

I find it very strange that nobody has pushed for that. Surely, there is a legislature somewhere in the country that will pass such a requirement.

I thought Oklahoma was pushing for that. It needs to be retroactive too.

WND is doing what it always does...making something out of nothing to get hits on their site. They have almost as many misleading headlines and articles as NYeT.
Arghhh!

It doesn’t need to be retroactive. Doing it for 2012 is enough. Retroactive probably isn’t going to happen and the measures aren’t there to enforce it if it did.

What good is a qualification requirement if documentation is not required?
