May very well be TB, but I have issue with their response:

NASCAR wants a large portion of Mayfield's lawsuit dismissed based on MacFenerstein's false affidavit.

Deal with the case, in court, on the merits, not dismissals on technicalities.

I think about 70% of Mayfield's case is based on this guys input. Many cases are dismissed prior to trial.

Meanwhile back at the race track GM Cuts Funding for Cup teams.

SONOMA, Calif. - Marcos Ambrose had the top practice speed Friday ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway.

The Australian driver had a speed of 93.404 mph around the 1.99-mile road course in a Toyota.

He edged Chevy-driving Jeff Gordon (93.368) and road-course specialist Boris Said (93.336).

Qualifying is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Saturday.
