SONOMA, Calif. - Marcos Ambrose had the top practice speed Friday ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway.

The Australian driver had a speed of 93.404 mph around the 1.99-mile road course in a Toyota.

He edged Chevy-driving Jeff Gordon (93.368) and road-course specialist Boris Said (93.336).

Qualifying is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Saturday.
