How did Obama manage to spend all his political capital so quickly? Did it all go on the stimulus bill? Wasn’t the whole point of bringing Rahm in as chief of staff that he could work constructively with Congress to pass an ambitious agenda? And isn’t Obama himself the first president since JFK to have entered the White House from the Senate? I’m not sure when everything went wrong here, but I fear that the damage is now irreparable — and that Obama’s agenda is going to be severely scaled back as a result.
Our explanation is rather simple: Obama’s agenda was ambushed by the financial crisis, which forced him to spend the crucial early months of his presidency in pursuit of economic recovery and financial stability. It’s not a matter of spending political capital quickly so much as spending time-expiring political capital on the financial crisis. Basically, presidents only have a limited amount of time to get anything ambitious accomplished. And Obama’s time may have already run out.
As he’s fond of saying, this isn’t the presidency he asked for. He had wanted a presidency focused on spreading the wealth around rather than desperately attempting to keep our wealth from vanishing into the national money hole.
That said, Obama can still give a helluva speech. That healthcare reform thing today really was a marvelous piece of rhetoric.

He would have to be President before he could become a lame duck. He hasn’t done anything Presidential yet.
Already, a majority of people disagree with his policies, even though the MSN keeps bleating about his personal approval rating.
His personal approval rating is still high (according to the MSM), but a majority disapprove of his policies.

The American people will never understand what they have done. They cannot accept responsibility for their irresponsibility.

Horse manure. He had a hand in manufacturing the financial crisis. He and Paulson organized the October Surprise based on that crisis that won him the election. It gave him a splended opportunity to push through more pork projects than any president in history. And it gave him the opportunity he wanted to wreck the country.
What more could a Muslim-Communist enemy of western civilization ask for? He did more damage in his first week in office than Jimmy Carter did in four years. And he's just getting started.
All he wants is the decline of the USA, and he is already getting that many times over, and the American people cheer.

The only thing that moderates him, even slightly, is his poltical desire to get a second term and extend the trappings of office for himself and his family. If Obama gets that second term, he will continue with the destruction of this country at an even faster rate and without any pretense.
Obama managed to spend all his “political capital” so quickly because it was all based on lies to begin with. Lying promises that never could work because not even the richest nation on Earth could pay for the Socialist Democrat hairbrained schemes.

In five months they have have caused so much damage that it will be ten years to repair if they were all gone tomorrow, but they won’t start leaving until January 2011 (Representatives), January 2013 Obama, and some Senators January 2015. So it will be 2025 before America really starts hitting on all cylinders again, provided the GIMME GIMME’s and WARM FUZZY SHEEPLE don’t control the rest of us.
Fight them, denounce them, replace them at every level of our society from your local township and school board through the state government to the federal government. Fight them, replace them, or be ruled by the likes of the Obamination and the Socialist Democrats who will pander to them and permanently wreck America.
Actually, the Democrats would never vote down Obama’s agenda; they would simply not bring it up for a vote. That’s what they did with HillaryCare in 1993-1994. The Congress is also anti-American.

If need be, the Chicago politicians in the White House will make the dirty tricks of the 1972 election look like a Sunday school picnic to ensure a second term for The One. The question is whether he’ll be willing to step aside for another Marxist in 2012 or will find a way around the two-term limit. There’s always the “Lurleen” option (with Michelle as Lurleen).
Heck of a speech? His orations are loud, staccato, riddled with contradictions and high on appeals to emotion.
Oops...I meant 2016, not 2012. Obviously Barack will be running again in 2012—he’s already indicated that he regards this as his “first” term.
