Congress ought to open an investigation, New York Times editorialists should be in a state of apoplexy, and MSNBC hosts ought to be frothing at the mouth. Without appropriate documentation or good reason, President Obama has fired a federal investigator who was on the case against a political ally of the president's. Mr. Obama's move has the stench of scandal.

I wonder if this investigator can, in the old words of the popular Algore, figure out that now “up is down”, “down is up”, etc. Bet he can’t figure it out
This is just another racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted charge from a bunch of balding white men who are mad that they’ve lost their power.
I fail to see the story here....

ROTFLMAO! Do you think for a moment that the Monica Media is going to go after Obama? And even if they did, he's so smooth and handsome that a majority of Americans will not care.
Would America turn on Will Smith? Tiger woods? Well, he's both rolled into one!

I’m sure the watchdogs in the press will take up the cause. Katie is probably booking a flight out there now. /s
Naw, the msm will remind the people of the 7 lawyers or so that Bush fired, and it will all be like, well Bush fired so and so first, so its his fault, and the sheeple will eat it.
In the most traumatic government upheaval of the Watergate crisis, President Nixon yesterday discharged Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and accepted the resignations of Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William D. Ruckelshaus. The President also abolished the office of the special prosecutor and turned over to the Justice Department the entire responsibility for further investigation and prosecution of suspects and defendants in Watergate and related cases.
Hope Change Transparency Honesty: Just words to Obama.

Something tells me that things aren't going to turn out well for these people.
Media outlets are investigating some funny business involving Barack Hussein Obama, AmeriCorps and one of his biggest supporters.
It seems that an AmeriCorps inspector general received a missive from an Obama legal counsel last night ordering him to resign within the hour or be fired. There was only one small hitch: Obamas legal goon was working outside of the law.
Obama himself co-signed the Inspectors General Reform Act prohibiting inspector generals from being harassed or fired in retaliation for doing their jobs. The measure also included a provision requiring the president to notify Congress at least 30 days before firing any IG.
Maybe Obama simply forgot about the provision as he so often does when he ordered the immediate firing of the IG after business hours.
As soon as the media began looking into the attempted firing, the White House quickly backed off from their hasty decision to fire the IG.
So what did this AmeriCorps inspector general do to get on Obamas bad side? His job, of course.
An inspector generals job duties includes weeding out corruption and fraud within government.
From Fox News.
The firing apparently stems from Walpins investigation of a non-profit group, St. HOPE Academy, run by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California (and a big Obama supporter). [Walpin] found that Johnson, a former all-star point guard for the Phoenix Suns, had used AmeriCorps grants to pay volunteers to engage in school-board political activities, run personal errands for Johnson and even wash his car, the AP reports. In April, the U.S. attorney declined to file any criminal charges in the matter and criticized Walpins investigation. But at the same time Johnson and St. HOPE agreed to repay about half of the $850,000 it had received from AmeriCorps.
